1. Assessing the support among Wentworth Club members for the Tennis and
Health captain in his efforts with the Wentworth Heritage Group to fight
against the Reignwood’s proposed debenture
A short survey of Wentworth Club members was conducted between 1900 on 1/2/16 to 1600 on
2/2/16. It attracted responses from 388 members covering all types of member, 64% were Tennis &
Health members or Full members which are those most affected by the Tennis & Health Club
proposals. 32% were Residents of Wentworth Estate. There are c.4070 paying members of
Wentworth so this response provides an overall confidence level more than 95% with a margin of
error of less than 5%.

 Tennis & Health members account for 46.3% of total paying Wentworth members, in
this survey they accounted for 47.4% of responses.
 1600 members were emailed giving a response rate of 24.3%, typical for an internet
survey.
 Each member indicated how many members of their family were included in their
response, the average being 2.079. This factor has not been included in this
analysis.
