Client Company: Product Safety Consulting Inc. - John Allen
Designers: Diane Kohlin and Assunta DePau
Problem Statement: The existing clamp does not work well and is expensive
because engineers must watch the machine continuously. The
current solution is unreliable and costly.
Design Statement: Create a universal clamp to hold all kinds of products that can
be tested.
Constraints: • Fit onto existing fixture
• have a universal size
• Clamp to be portable
• Must allow cord to rotate
