This tutorial teaches how to locate journal, magazine, and newspaper articles using the Research Hub on Trine University's library website. It provides instructions on searching by topic or within a specific publication, as well as searching for an article using a citation. 3. Access the Research Hub by clicking on
Academics then Library from the Trine
University’s home page.
Tip: Bookmark the URL for the LIS homepage
http://www.trine.edu/academics/library/index.aspx
4. Limit the Research Hub search box to Articles.
Enter your search terms and click Go.
5. To access a particular article:
Click View Online
Please report broken links to librarians@trine.edu.
6. Read the article online OR
Print, email, or save it.

7. When citing…
Follow the format prescribed by your instructor. If you are
unsure, ASK your professor!
Always check the citation for accuracy and completeness!
Consult a Writing Center tutor OR http://libguides.trine.edu/cite for
assistance with citing sources in a particular style.
8. To search within a specific publication, select
Journal Locator from the Library Links
dropdown in the WorldCat Discovery interface.
9. Click Search for: Articles then Enter the
citation in the fields as illustrated.
