This is a presentation for those people who are interested in Mechanical Engineering but either don't have or have a little knowledge about it. So presentation gives a brief orientation of Mechanical Engineering.
This presentation will help school students who want to study engineering or first year mechanical engineering students who don't have proper idea about mechanical Engineering although they know a lot about IT and Computer Engineering.

Mechanical Engineers have infinite scopes in many fields such as Automobile, Aviation, manufacturing, Designing as well as power sector. All the scopes are not mentioned in this presentation but I gives just basic but important information.

Special Skills required : • Great and deep knowledge of subjects like physics, material Science, mechanics, machine design, Calculus etc. • High presentation skills are required. • Deep knowledge of at-least 3-4 CAD software is basic need. • Basic or Advanced Knowledge of C++, PLC and Microcontroller Programming is considered as positive aspects.

Quality Control • Quality control (QC) is a procedure or set of procedures intended to ensure that a manufactured product or performed service adheres to a defined set of quality criteria or meets the requirements of the client or customer. • A mechanical Engineer Concerned With QC is Called QC engineer.
  13. 13. Quality Control Special Skills required : • High Knowledge & skills of Metrology Instrumentation is Required. • External degree and certificates required for γ- radiation, Ultrasonic and Non- Destructive Testing

Scopes And Jobs related to Mechanical Engineering • A mechanical engineer is needed for Manufacturing, Designing, Maintenance and Quality Control related to the smallest things such as a pin or a paperclip to the Manufacturing, Designing, Maintenance and Quality Control of Largest things such as Jumbo Jets, Space shuttle, Space Shuttle, Satellite and space stations.
