WIT Connect 2009 Friday, May 22, 2009 Executives Team Up to Help Fight Breast Cancer Lisa LaVallee asked to be Program Manager for WIT Events Connecting for a Cause: WIT Connect 2009 - Georgia’s Premier Technology Networking Event Women in Technology is holding its 15th annual WIT Connect: Connecting for a Cause on July 16, 2009 at the Atlanta History Center, with the silent and live auction event beginning at 5:30 p.m. WIT Connect is a unique fundraiser that auctions the time of executives of top Georgia corporations and draws hundreds of the technology community’s leaders together to raise money to support WIT programs and philanthropy initiatives. WIT’s Women of the Year in Technology is an annual program celebrating women in technology in their accomplishments as leaders in business, as visionaries of technology, and as women who make a difference in our communities. 4. Friday, May 22, 2009 Save a Life…Rescue an Animal Graduate to Swim Firestone High School graduate, Lisa Nygaard is going to swim for Gettysburg College. She will focus on the butterfly, IM, and relay. She lettered all four years while attending FHS and playing center on the basketball team. What’s in the Boat? Obviously a little cautious about what came in on the line…Not anymore. Deep Sea fishing is now a thrill! You Can Do 26.2 After her husband was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, Lisa joined Team in Training to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She was successful in raising $20K. Training started in September with the final run of 26.2 miles at the January Disney World Marathon. Need to play more golf!!!! Sun Vallee Dispatch Sports
