  4. 4. Know your audience Simply put, a pitch is sharing your business with “the world”. Its about communicating your business in a way that brings your potential customers, funders/ investors and networks on the journey with you. It could be: • A spoken presentation- a short “elevator pitch” or a longer presentation to a specific audience • A document (visual, written) or video. Knowing your audience (who you are presenting to) is key. If you are pitching for investment/ funding this is going to be different to pitching your business to potential customers. Your pitch audience will be your fellow participants and members of the Global Sisters community, including business coaches. How would you like them to get involved in your business? What is “your ask”?
