Legal Entity - a company or organization that has legal rights and
responsibilities, for example the right to make contracts and the
responsibility to pay debts

4. Legal Entity
A Legal Entity has an official name and certain rights, remedies,
privileges, obligations and responsibilities under the law similar to
those of an individual. The concept of a legal entity is a
fundamental legal fiction.
