This presentation was presented to our senior capstone client from B&D Merchandising. Our client was interested in exporting smartphones to Nigeria, Mali, and Benin. Throughout this past semester, the International Business Consulting Team I was a part of, created export plans for these countries. We researched the opportunities and risks of doing business in each country, conducted market research, and created export plans.

We are recommending exporting refurbished iPhone 4s’ in Nigeria
● Less expensive than most smartphones
● They offer the applications that the younger generations are interested in
● Total Landed Cost per iPhone 4s is less expensive than Benin and Mali due to
the additional costs incurred by transporting the phones from Nigeria
● Income per capita is larger and spending patterns show willingness to purchase
