Disneyland If you stay long enough you can see a firework show which is accompanied with matching music.
Shenzhen - shopping If you have a spare day in Hong Kong and shopping is your thing then think about taking the train to Shenzhen for some serious retail therapy. The prices in Shenzhen are incredible and the people are friendly and approachable and bargain in a friendly, non aggressive way. Note. The best days to avoid crowds are Wednesday and Thursday. Don't even consider public holidays!
Happy Valley Races Happy Valley Racecourse (Chinese: 快活谷馬場 or 跑馬地馬場) is one of the two racecourses for horse racing in Hong Kong. It is located in Happy Valley on Hong Kong Island, surrounded by Wong Nai Chung Road and Morrison Hill Road.

Beijing- Silk market The Silk Markets is definitely not a man's place... it's girlie shopping heaven.
Beijing- The Forbidden City The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. For almost five hundred years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government.
