IPF are a 3D Printing, Plastic CNC Machining and Fabrication service
Located just north of London, UK, and established for over 40 years, we 3D print parts with high end
Polyjet, FDM and SLS technology. Our plastic Machining and fabrication service offers a variety of
techniques to provide good quality parts to your desired specification using design intent materials.

4. CNC Routing / Milling
IPF have been using CNC machines since
1980 and are experts in CNC machining
and CNC routing techniques.
Turning
IPF produce internal and external
profiles, creating parts that can be more
artistic rather than just functional.
Diamond Tip Machine Polishing
Internal and external profiles whether
they are straight or curved can be
polished using diamond tooling set within
our top of the range high speed milling
machines and lathes.
5. Laser Cutting and Engraving
IPF’s CNC Laser engraving service for
profiling, cutting and engraving of acrylic.
Produces clean cut edges and fine details.
Laser cutting is ideal for fast processing
of prototypes, small batch or large
production runs.
UV Printing
IPF have the alternative to silk screen
printing, for prototypes and small batch
prints.
U.V. Digital printing allows us to supply
fast, cost effective and accurately
stunning graphics, logos, and text printed
onto a wide range of substrates up to 100
mm thick.
7. Diffusion Bonding
Diffusion Bonding enables the bonding of
Perspex (Acrylic) with clear void free
joints without the use of cements,
adhesives or solvents. Typically for
medical manifolds, and micro-fluidics
UV Cementing
Cosmetically perfect joints for Perspex
fabrication that are optically clear, tough
and robust.
Forming and Line Bending
We form plastic components to your
exact specification using vacuum
forming, drape forming, blowing,
pressing and line bending techniques.
8. Specialist Diffusion Bonding
Service
Diffusion Bonding achieves clear, strong joints
in cast acrylic without the contamination of
adhesives or solvents.

treatment, machining, and polishing
High precision components with complex
internal shapes
No contamination from the bonding

The materials endure no, or very little
plastic deformation
Typically for fluidic plates, medical
manifolds, high class pen blanks, medical
diagnostic imaging and light guides.
10. Polyjet
PolyJet technology 3D prints in the widest
variety of materials, so you can create
ergonomic tooling, realistic prototypes.
Models are precisely printed in layers as
fine as 16 microns for smooth surfaces
and complex geometries.
Material properties range from rubber to
rigid, transparent to opaque, neutral to
vibrantly coloured and standard to
biocompatible.
11. FDM – Fused deposition
Modelling
FDM Technology builds parts in the same
strong, stable plastics used in injection
molding, CNC machining and other
traditional manufacturing processes.
FDM offers good geometric accuracy,
durability, stability and strength, for
concept models, functional prototypes,
end use parts and manufacturing tools.
Materials available; Nylon12, ABS, PC etc.
12. SLS – Selective laser sintering
SLA service 3d prints parts that deliver the highest-
quality astonishing detail, without sacrificing durability
and toughness.
Create laser-sharp functional prints, with stunning
surface finish engineered for precision and
reliability. Solid parts with small intricate details.
SLA - StereoLithoGraphy
Test your design through strong fully functional
prototypes with remarkable properties and great
performance using our selective laser sintering (SLS)
3D printing service.
Our EOS SLS 3D printer uses powdered polymer
nylon 12, to build 3D printed parts with high strength
and stiffness, with outstanding detail
