Fewer young people get a chance to experience flight.

Young Eagles Rally  A short Ground School covers aerodynamics and basics of flight  Kids are walked around an aircraft, noting how controls move  A twenty-minute flight comes next  Kids will be allowed to fly the aircraft  Each kid’s name will then be entered into the World’s Largest Logbook in Oshkosh, WI
  8. 8. Added Benefits  Kids are awarded free membership in EAA until age 19 ($40/year value)  Free electronic copy of EAA Sport Aviation magazine  Free access to Sporty’s Learn to Fly Ground School on-line course ($199 value)  Free first flight lesson ($120 value)  Free Academy of Model Aeronautics Student Membership ($58/year value)  Free admission to 300+ science and technology museums  Access to flight training awards, education scholarships, and EAA Air Academy camperships
