This was shared as a workshop as part of MOZFEST 2022. Challenging the universality of AI design conversations. "Is the universe friendly?" a quote often lost in attribution between Einstein and Frederic Myres. Regardless of origination, I stop at this quote to propose a simple human way that centers empathy and understanding as a prompt to engage multi-stakeholders in, what is often, alienating and alienated conversations on AI and its respective technologies, choices, and in turn impact.
