Mr. Andrew Linington is a senior Civil & Structural Engineer with 30+ years’ experience in
engineering & construction management, civil & structural design, site engineering & QC.
Since Jan 2014 he has been a member of the owner’s engineering team for De Beers on their
Venetia Underground Project (VUP) in Musina, accountable for the project’s Civil, Structural
and Architectural engineering and design.
He has previous experience in mining, services infrastructure, petrochemical plants and
aluminum smelters.

Driving an integrated team approach between De Beers and the EPCM
Achievements: Supervised the Civil and structural engineering and construction of surface
infrastructure including erection of two structural steel headgears from terracing to
start of shaft sinking.
