2. An Introduction
Liverpool Loves is a celebratory festival created to showcase the best of life around
the city region. It takes place at a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Pier Head
from Thursday 4th to Saturday 6th August 2016.
This high profile, annual series of events serves as a platform
for local organisations to take advantage of commercial
opportunities; to build profile, awareness and to connect
with a positive, memorable experience about this great city.
The programme stretches across three exciting days of
activity, bringing the best of Liverpool Business, Culture,
Food and Wellbeing to the heart of the city centre.
We have a commitment to promoting Liverpool as a
top-class destination – which is a dynamic, unique and
attractive place to live, work and visit. We also have a
number of core values – to employ locally, to give contracts
to local businesses where possible, and to invest profits
back into developing new businesses for local people.
As well as this, we’re working towards being Liverpool’s
first green festival in the coming years.
It’s a great thing to get behind!
Liverpool Loves is a one-stop shop for the city region’s
independents, arts and culture groups, community
organisations and charities; and it produces a significant
social impact across the city region. It’s “The People’s
Festival” made with nothing but love.
We’re calling for support in delivering these outcomes.
So why not get on board and demonstrate your commitment
to the city and show just how much you love Liverpool!
