• Village Premiere League or State Premiere League (Football, Volleyball, Cricket)
• Introduce a festival like ‘‘North East Sport Festival’’
• Install a sports academy like Lakshmibai national institute of physical
education(Gwalior)
8. Major events
• 1. 35th national games kerala / next in goa- (Inter state sports meet) The National
Games are required to be held once in two years leaving those years in which the
Olympic Games and Asian Games are scheduled to be held.
• 2.Inter ngo sports meet (Mumbai)- This Inter NGO Sports Meet is an athletic meet
for underprivileged children from different NGOs working with children in the age
group 8 to 16 years. This athletic meet is conducted annually across the 7 branch
cities where Concern India Foundation operates.
