Thai Gia Son Co., Ltd is a manufacturing company, so it requires quite a lot of procedures. Essentially, he has the right to hire all emplyees, as well as assessing the overall direction and strategy for his company. Moreover, they act on behalf of the shareholders to run the day to day affairs of Thai Gia Son. The board of director is accountable to the shareholders. Each year the company will hold an annual general meeting at which they provides a report to shareholders on the performance of Thai Gia Son. Vice director of production, CEO and director of finance are directly controlled by the board of director. 1.3.2. Roles of Sales Department Sales department is one of the most important department in Thai Gia Son. The sales staff are in charge of looking for the sales opportunities with the existing and new customers to sell Cashew. Whenever, Thai Gia Son has a meeting, they will organize effective presentation to their customers for their target products. The sales manager takes responsibilities to identify the target budget for each year with following-up percent of the budget realization each quarter of year. To do this, th sales manager has to definite business opportunities with each customer to be considered in the target budget or forecast list. Moreover, they should development the rapports with all existing and new customers to know their future plan as well as co-ordination with im- export department to reach the strategic goals. 1.3.3. Roles of Im-export Department Im-export Department plays an important role in managing and carrying out external activities, as well as analyzing, expanding and introducing products to forign markets. They are in charge of exploiting and importing goods to supply raw materials and goods for production, business and management. they also tak care fo import and export activities of products manufactured and distributed by Thai Gia Son. 1.3.4. Roles of Accounting Department This is an important department in Thai Gia Son. There are some specific roles that the accounts maintain great relationships with vendors. the essential roles and duties of virtually any accounting staff include some

It means that they are preparing financial reports such as profit and loss, balance sheets and budgets. Lastly, they have to control finance. 1.3.5. Roles of Administration Organization General Administration Department occupies an important in Thai Gia Son. The department is incharge of providing comprehensive administrative planning, leadership and organization, as well as development of all departments in the company. They also evaluate performance of all department heads and their operations. In addition, administering all laws and policies established is their responsibilities in Thai Gia Son. The corporate structure of Thai Gia Son is designed or adapted to facilitate the implementation of the current strategic goals of cashew exports. However, when the structure of too many levels of management will lead to the distance between the decision-making place with the object of administration is extended, the speed of decision-making is slow and can be bureaucratic. At this time, the student has time to learn SC, L/C and translate SC for Thai Gia Son. At the other weeks, two departments give the student a chance to work as the real staff in the company. The student has chance to deal with the customers, the suppliers. Moreover, the students has more time to translate ans assist staff in Thai Gia Son. At the last week, the company give documents to the students for this report. In the other time, the student find new customers for sales department. At last, two department enjoy small party with the student to say goodbye.

The first, it is soft skills such as problem-solving skill, communication skill, presentation skill. soft skills are important to the success of almost all people. Another reason hiring managers and employers look for applicants with soft skills is because soft skills are transferable skills that can be used regardless of the job at which the person is working. The second, it is sales skill that is very important knowledge to support the student to find good job in the future. Specially, this is product knowledge that helps sales staff attract the customers to the company. he most important of today’s sales skills is simply understanding the buyer. It’s the foundation of effective selling. But it involves more than just understanding who the buyer is. The last, it is translation skill. In the business translation field, many folks assume all you need is knowledge of two languages. A high quality translation must be many things: Easily understood, well-written, true to the subtleties and spirit of the original as well as the meaning. 4.2 Management techniques observed. Thai Gia Son has effective management techniques applied for its business such as select the right people and develop it staff, as well as being positive and constructive in developing the company. The sales manager is only as good as their team. He emphasises the importance of focusing on his sales staff’s development. To him, Helping his employees to succeed – their success is his success, as well as Thai Gia Son’s success. He is always willing to coach his sales team and coach them and coach them until they become the best sales team. In import-export department, the manager also give his staff to improve their knowledge, as well as English language. Moreover, Thai Gia Son always look for the talents who can devote themselves for the company.

This is the best management techniques to increase staff’s satisfaction and productivity. 4.3 Classroom skills employed Thanks to English skills such as reading skill, writing skill, listening skill and speaking skill that help the student to complete the intership in Thai Gia Son well. Companies who conduct business internationally are likely to be engaging with people who speak English as a first or second language on a regular basis making the ability to use English in the workplace a very valuable skill. A good knowledge of English allows the student to communicate effectively with international customers. The student uses English for a variety of purposes including in meetings and negotiations, for translation and interpretion, writing reports, giving presentations and in social situations. To build successful relationships, the student understands the different tones and styles that can be used in business contexts and have the ability to determine which is suitable. Moreover, the student works on soft skills including how to effectively manage, persuade and negotiate in English. In short english skills help the student create a good translation is a matter of grammar, vocabulary, and cultural knowledge. In addition, it helps the students learn new skills in Thai Gia Son, as well as supporting them to work well. 4.4 Problem encountered  Problem 1 : There is no a translator in Thai Gia Son. This is the big problem that cause negative effect to customer service and sales. Solution : until now Thai Gia Son has not recruit a translator for its business. Thus recruiting a good translator and interpretor is compulsory now.  Problem 2 : Forms of import-export documents are not good and not clear. This can affect to customers’ satisfection when they receive bad form of documents. Solution : Thai Gia Son should focus on re-design new form that help customers can read them clearly ans easily.  Problem 3 : The marketing strategies is not good enough. Then Thai Gia Son has a limitation of marketshare development.

Especially, Thai Gia Son should focus on marketing on because it is cheap and effective. 4.5 Lesson learned During the internship time, the student has experienced the real working environment that involves the social interactions at the workplace, including interactions with peers, subordinates, managers and director. It is a location of management and organization. Important and compulsory duties are carried out here under the supervision of a head. One of the most wonderful and beneficial things an office environment can teach the student is time management. By the way, the student has been learning how behave yourself in front of others. Moreover, The best thing about working in an office is the excitement of learning something new on a regular basis. Here you will learn to become an experienced and diplomatic person. However, one of the worst side effects of working in an office is that it encourages a sedentary lifestyle. The staff usually sit at their desks all day. This makes them a lazier person as they don’t walk around or do any chores. Not just that, it strains our neck and back.
