Implementing Guidelines on the Conduct of
Remedial and Advancement Classes During
Summer for K to 12 Basic Education Program)
Eligible Learners for Summer:
- Grade 1to 10 learners who failed in not more than two
learning areas at the end of the school year despite the educational
interventions given.
- Grade 1 to 11 learner who got a grade raging from 75 to
79described as Fairly Satisfactory based on DepEd order No. 8, s.
2015 shall attend enrichment classes for 15 days instead of remedial
classes.
A Learner can only be considered a drop-out or no
longer participating in learning activities (NLPA) if he/
and his/her parent voluntarily withdraw from schooling or if
he/she incurs absences or more than 20% of the prescribed
number of classes during the school year or semester as per
DO No. 8, s. 2015.
