∗ Closely link business units which are geographically dispersed or
with little overlapping objectives to break down/prevent silos.
∗ Facilitate sharing of knowledge within and between business
units.
∗ Efficiently manage a range of policies and procedures to comply
with quality management and regulatory requirements.
∗ Improve processes, documentation and tracking of outputs for
training programs and other activities.

4. What happened next?
∗ “Community Challenge” created the prototype.
∗ Task based navigation divided into divisional areas
∗ With limited knowledge – WorkVentures continued the
development and implementation.

∗ Functional vs “pretty”
∗ Steady build vs grand plan
∗ Strongly promote use and support with training
∗ Target “low hanging fruits” first for productivity gains

∗ Things have worked well so far, no issue worth noting.
∗ Our remaining challenge is how to link employees who do
not have computers at their desk.
∗ Response to system is overwhelmingly positive.
∗ As internal system expertise increases, we’ll improve
aesthetics and consider use of other languages.
∗ 2 cents worth of advice:
