• Center of Gravity calculated visual of current
distribution locations and customers served.
• CoG uses a pre-determined weight per customer
based on visit frequency, distance, sales value or
transport costs.
• The number of stars indicate the complexity of the
required input data and analysis

• Go to the website and download the apps
• Follow the instructions Office Add-ins
• Install Supply Chain Add-In
• Get started, select the module Center of Gravity
• Data of the routes you want to optimize
• Customer ID (Name, Country, ZIP, City, Street)
• A parameter (Weight value) to determine the importance of
the specific customer in relation to a the center(s)
• Determine the number of Centers for the network
