• Prior to the corporate office stint, as AVP & Cluster Head of Central India, handled operations of Indore, Bhopal,
Jabalpur, Raipur and Nagpur radio stations and led a team of 80 professionals comprising of Sales, Programming,
Finance, scheduling and technical professionals. Responsible for cluster P& L, augmented cluster revenue by 85% and
EBITDA by 65% in 4 years.
• As Head of Sales, Kolkata from 2009-11, spearheaded sales function of Kolkata station that contributed Rs. 12 crores
of revenue to company’s annual business and also fed the national Mirchi network with national deals. During my
tenure, augmented Kolkata revenues by 39% and Kolkata was adjudged the Flame Thrower Station of The Year (Best
Station) in 09-10 and 10-11 out of 32 stations.
• Effectively handled corporate clients in Kolkata that included ITC Personal Care division, Exide Industries, Eveready
Industries, Emami, Dollar Hosiery, Rupa & Dollar innerwear, Birla Cement, Linc Pens, Manyawar, G D Pharma, SRMB
Udyog, SAJ Industries, Tata Steel, UCO Bank, United Bank Of India, Allahabad Bank, Lafarge Cement, National
Insurance Company, etc. and increased corporate business by 75% in two years
• Efficiently secured the merit of being given the Greenfield Project for launching the Aurangabad Radio Mirchi Station.
