Project Description
MBS Expert is the leading software used for processing the TBAs, which are the forwards for Mortgage Back Securities in US.
The software enjoys 85% share in the market with regular enhancements to the system. Over the years it has grown by acquiring
different clients who deal with fixed income securities. It has interfaces that are developed using different technologies,
databases and platforms. This is a complete C, Java UNIX based solution with GUI developed on X-Motif. MBSE has many
external JAVA modules to connect to different external systems. MBSEalso provides the Electronic Pool Notification to FICC.

 Preparing Test Plans for Functionality Testing.
 Trace requirements, design the flow and write Automation scripts using TCLScript.
 Creating Test Data and Test Results.
 Maintaining and updating all QA regions from CVS Repository.

FICC - Fixed income clearing corporation is a Government body
Central Contra Party is nothing but FICC, CCP3 was developed to reduced settlement costs and reduce Fail risks. All parties
send the poolinstructs to FICC, FICC will perform poolnetting based on each poolcusip and pass this information back to
MBS.

 Preparing Test Plans for Functionality Testing.

FICC - Fixed income clearing corporation is a Government body
The mortgage-backed securities (MBS) Novation project is a conversion to operational novation and a simplification of the
netting and settlement process that will enable MBSD to retire inefficient processing such as NOS. It will expand and extend the
services rolled out with Pool Netting, which introduced the comparison, trade guarantee, netting and CCP settlement of pool
allocations submitted in satisfaction of members’ outstanding to be announced (TBA) obligations. MBSD will continue to
require bilateral matching and to support dealer-to-dealer and broker-to-dealer trade submission.

mitigates risk. The Trades/Entries which are created in Impact goes to AWS Screen for another level of approval before goin g
to bank, and user can login into the AWS screen and Approve/Reject the entries over and if he Approves the entry it will go to
bank or if he rejects it the Processing of thetrade will be stopped.
