5. The Feast of
Weeks
• Leviticus 23:15-17 (NKJV)
• 15 ‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day
after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought
the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths
shall be completed. 16 Count fifty days to the day
after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a
new grain offering to the LORD. 17You shall bring
from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-
tenths of an ephah.They shall be of fine flour;
they shall be baked with leaven. They are the
firstfruits to the LORD.
6. This coming
7 days
• We are starting a very important set of seven days.
• On Wednesday June 4th it is the celebration of one
of the Feast of the Lord that was ordained in the
time of Moses and is celebrated to this day, its
called Shavuot or the Feast ofWeeks.
• Next Sunday June 8th Christianity celebrates the
Day of Pentecost
7. Shavuot or
Feast of Weeks
• This was the second feast of pilgrimage in Old
Testament times. All males 12 years old and over
had to come to Jerusalem for this celebration.
• This was a celebration of thanksgiving for the
second harvest of the year which was the harvest
of the wheat.
8. Pentecost, Holy
Spirit came
• Acts 1:1-3 (NKJV)
• 1The former account I made, OTheophilus, of all
that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 until the
day in which He was taken up, after He through
the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the
apostles whom He had chosen, 3 to whom He also
presented Himself alive after His suffering by
many infallible proofs, being seen by them during
forty days and speaking of the things pertaining
to the kingdom of God.
9. Jesus Ascends to
Heaven
• Acts 1:9
• New King JamesVersion (NKJV)
• 9 Now when He had spoken these things, while
they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud
received Him out of their sight.
11. Coming of the Holy
Spirit
• Acts 2:1-4 (NKJV)
• 2When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they
were all with one accord in one place. 2 And
suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a
rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house
where they were sitting. 3Then there appeared to
them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon
each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the
Holy Spirit and began to speak with other
tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
14. This is the time
of your harvest
• In Israel and in different parts of the world, the first
harvest has come to its end, the barley has been
collected and given the adequate use.
• Barley was as a sign of second class, of less
importance, almost despised.
• The first fruits of the second harvest is in its
starting season,The wheat
15. This is the time
of our harvest.
• During this week we are considering three
harvests.
• The First harvest, the harvest of the Barley is
over.
• The season of the second harvest, the wheat is
just starting.
• Are your silos ready to hold the abundance of
this increase?
• This week is a week that can prove to be a
breakthrough in your whole life.
16. The Feast of
Weeks
• Tuesday evening the annual fourth Feast of the
Lord, the Feast of Weeks is starting at
sundown.
• This is a thanksgiving feast, thanking to the
Lord for the starting of the second harvest of
the year, the harvest of wheat.
17. Pentecost Day
• The third harvest.
• this coming Sunday June 8 is Pentecost day,
Christianity , celebrates the coming of the Holy
Spirit upon the believers in the Upper Room
and the harvested 3000 souls won for the
Kingdom of God.
18. This is a season
to receive the
increment of
your seed.
19. Keys for our
harvest
• One of the Keys for our harvest is the quantity
and quality of our seed, that is our job, and it is
the Lord who waters and gives the increase.
• Another key is the extension of our vision; what
you see, is what you expect, and that is what
you will receive.
• A third key is thanksgiving. Mumbling,
grumbling, complaining will kill your crops;
while thanksgiving in advance is as a powerful
fertilizer.
20. • At this time what you do, will
determine your third harvest in
October.
• You collect the present harvest and
separate your seed to plant it for
next year.
21. Three harvest
along the year
• Barley the first one, wheat the second one, and
d grapes the third one.
• Barley speaks of humbleness and simplicity.
• Wheat speaks of a better and more
appreciated quality of grain, and the
• Grapes, speak of a time of rejoicing, a time to
look back to see how good the Lord has been;
and a time to look forward for the coming year.
23. • Next year, 2015 is a Sabbatical or Shemittah
year which occurs every 7 years. In Israel there
will be no planting, no pruning, no harvesting, is
a year of rest even for the soil. We are call to
rest on Him, to trust his word and to receive the
abundance of His blessings.
24. • But this year, is the 6th year,
• The year before the 7th year, and
• The bible says this about the 6th
year:
25. Leviticus 25:20-21 (NKJV)
• Leviticus 25:20-21 (NKJV)
• 20 ‘And if you say, “What shall we eat in
the seventh year, since we shall not
sow nor gather in our produce?”21 Then
I will command My blessing on you in
the sixth year, and it will bring forth
produce enough for three years.
26. Then, I sensed the
Lord saying:
• It is harvest time! Every seed that has been
put to advance the Kingdom of God is
causing a supernatural increase.
• As in the year previous to the Sabbatical year,
this present week is pointing out to a triple
supernatural increase.
• This is the year in which the Lord will command
a triple increase to those who love him and
have been working to extend his Kingdom.
27. • This is a week to speak and expect an
unprecedented outpouring of the anointing of
the Holy Spirit, to come upon every believer
and cause a supernatural increase both in the
natural and in the spiritual.
• This is a week to claim for the power of the
Holy Spirit to come upon unbelievers to soften
their hearts and cause them to seek for God.
28. • The Lord says that every seed put in His
Kingdom will not be unproductive, but that
He has decreed that they cause
supernatural increment.
• The Lord says that doors that man said are
impossible to open; He has already opened
for us.
• Dare to trust me to prosper you way over
your expectations.
29. • The Lord says that every seed put in His
Kingdom will not be unproductive, but that
He has decreed that they cause
supernatural increment.
• The Lord says that doors that man said are
impossible to open; He has already opened
for us.
• Dare to trust me to prosper you way over
your expectations.
30. Declaration of
faith
• Based in the love and plans of God I declare in
the name of Jesus that Divine favor rests upon
the activities of those who are obeying His
word, and are receiving and spreading His
love. His favor walks before us surrounding us
as with a shield of protection.
• Thank you Father, in Jesus name,
• Amen.
31. A final thought
• Jesus is the Lord of the Harvest.
• He can take your seed and multiply it greatly.
• We are just about half year, you still have time to put
new seeds to have another increase this same year.
God is good and
His love endures
for ever.
