Tomorrow we are starting a new series of study: “The New Man” is a seminar that will focus on the spirit of man, its soul and its body. We will learn the properties of each one of these three parts of man. Our spirit is called to be the ruling part of us, actually, our spirit is the main part of our being, and is the place where the spirit of God dwells in. 4.  The Bible teach us that we are Spirit, Soul and
Body.
 Some people think we are just body & soul.
 Spirit and Soul are not the same thing.

Spirit

Body

 .” 27 So God created man in His own image; in
the image of God He created him; male and
female He created them.

 12 For the word of God is living and powerful,
and sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing even to the division of soul and spirit,
and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of
the thoughts and intents of the heart.

 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

10.  Our body, obviously is the only visible part of
us, you can see yourself reflected in a mirror.
 When I’m speaking to you, I can see you, but
the moment I start to speak to you, I’m then
speaking to your soul, which is your mental
and emotional part.
 I can see your body.
 But I can neither see your soul nor your spirit.

11.  You can feel your body and your soul, but you
cannot feel your spirit.
 If I put my hand on your back, you will know
that I had touched you.
 If a coal or a piece of ice touch any part of
your body you will immediately react to their
touch as your body will avoid extreme
temperatures .

12.  Even if a person is far away from another, still
one can touch to the other at will.
 For touching your body I need proximity.
 However, your soul can be touched from afar.
 With my words addressed to you, I can hurt
you, make you feel happy, put you in an
emotional state, put you angry, make you feel
depress or lift you up.

13. Feeling your body
 You can check your body and easily find out
how you are:
 Cold or hot,
 Sick or healthy,
 Tired or relaxed,
 Hungry or satisfied,
 Sleepy or awake.

14. Feeling your soul
 In the same manner you can check your soul
and immediately realize how is your state:
 Happy or sad,
 Depressed or confident,
 Peaceful or angry,
 Clear mind or confused,
 Willing or unwilling.

15.  But with your spirit is something different, it
cannot be accessed in any natural way

 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh,
and that which is born of the Spirit is
spirit.
 Clearly Jesus is saying that there is no direct
connection between the two

16.  You cannot contact your spirit through your
emotions of by means of your physical body.
 Spirit is Spirit, and
 Flesh is flesh
 There is no direct connection!

18.  We need to realize that spiritual truth cannot
be felt.
 God’s word declares that you and I have the
same power that raised Jesus from the dead!
 These reality cannot be discern with our
natural senses.

 The Answered Prayer

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he

 You cannot feel the spiritual realm.
 You cannot see it, tested it, hear it, or smell it.
 You by faith believe it.
 Salvation is by faith.
 Healing is by faith.
 Anointing and the use of the gifting is by faith.

63 It is the Spirit who gives life;

that I speak to you are spirit,
and they are life.

23.  The spirit cannot be naturally seen or felt.
 The only way to understand spiritual truth is
through the bible.
 We must read the Word of God and Believe it.
 If you want to know how is your spirit, you
have to discovered from the Word of God.

was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect
law of liberty and continues in it, and is

work, this one will be blessed in what he
does.

27.  Your New Born Again Spirit is accurately
reflected in the Word of God.
 As you get familiar with God’s Word, you will
become familiar with the reflection of your
spirit.
 Even if you are not aware of it, God’s power is
inside of you!
