Students from HAYLE COMMUNITY SCHOOL introduced their presentation about Guacaleda logos on 9th March 2012.

2. The Task:
Design a new logo to advertise
Guacaleda Ice Cream in
Cornwall

3. The designs
Design 1: Emily & Lowena
We chose to put
avocado's in the bowl
to represent the
avocado flavour.
We also put a Spanish
flag coming out of the
avocado because
Malaga is in Spain.

Design 2: Joe and Caleb
I chose to use part of
your original logo in
mine, because I
thought it was clever.
I have added a
Spanish flag to mine,
because Malaga is in
Spain.
Also I have a
photograph of the
actual ice cream.

Design 3 Jasmine & Megan
We have used
a picture of
avocados
because that is
the main
ingredient in
the ice cream
and we have
put a Spanish
flag in the logo
because the
ice cream is
Spanish.

Design 4: Kim
I used avocado and
wine because they
are two of the
ingredients used in the
making of the ice
cream. I also used the
Spanish flag to show
that it was a ice
cream that originated
in Spain.

I have chosen this as
my logo because
the colours of the
writing are the same
colours as the
Spanish flag, I also
put the Spanish flag
on it because
Malaga is in Spain.
I put a picture of the
ice cream on it too.

Design 6: Will, Ben & Dan
In our logo we used the
Spanish flag as our
background, to show the
origin of the ice cream. We
also included a picture of
some avocados as we felt
that it was the prominent
ingredient in the ice cream.

I have designed the
logo with a glass
because the ice
cream is served in a
glass. There is a
Spanish flag because
Malaga is in Spain.
The colours have been
carefully chosen, they
are the same colours
as the other logo.
