Social Media and its Role in Bahrain The Bahrain Social Media Round Table Gathering was held on the 15th of June 2011, and saw an attendance of over 55 avid marketers, social media enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. The aim is to establish a forum for people who will, in the future, set the bars and trends in the Bahraini Social Media Industry. A survey was conducted to help shed light on the role that Social Media Networking sites play in the personal and business lives of the Bahraini population, and the impact it has on both aspects of life.
