1. Exchange migration / co-existence from exchange server 2010 to VM exchange server 210
 Design role based exchange infrastructure maximizing security and scalability;
 Migrate Databases and exchange store data to new VM server;
 Create exchange relays;
 Owa configuration and Outlook auto discovery;
 Decommission old server;
 Mobile intergration with MAS360 for mobile security and management;
2. Core firewall upgrade from PF sense Linux based router/Firewall to Fortigate clusterd
firewall infrastructure
 Source Hardware from vendor that would meet the needs of the company;
 Research current infrastructure permissions , access lists , routing tables ;
 Deploy tandem core firewall for testing , AC configuration and VPN user migration ;
 Document firewall setup, IP information, AC list, user accounts VPN setup and backup
startup configuration as part of DR plan.

 SSL Vlan configuration
 Decommission old infrastructure;
3. Hyper-v Cluster Migration to New hardware , VMM integration
 Migrate hyper-v roles and VHD’s to new cluster infrastructure;
 Virtualize existing legacy systems , Sage , ERP , Finance , File server, Webservers to
VM’s;
 Cluster san integration , migrate from Nic team configuration to MPOI connectivity;
 Cluster failover load balancing between 4 hosts , host home for optimal performance;
 Disaster recovery testing , VM failover , failover on performance degradation;
 Decommission old hyper-v cluster removing remaining AD objects;
4. Infrastructure Backup planning and deployment
 Source required equipment to meet the backup requirements of Actra;
 Setup and configure Unitrends Recover 822 Backup appliance;
 Create backups jobs , VM , full , Incremental , SQL and file;
 Create replication to remote Montreal based Hyper-v running Unitreds UVB;
 Create archived HD backup set to be shipped to branch office in case of Montreal and
Toronto Disaster occurrence;
 Create detailed backup reports for disaster recovery planning , what resources need first
priority in recovery and time estimate of recovery process;
5. San migration from HP4300 to HP 3Par
 Facilitate setup of HP 3Par San
 Configure 3Par Volumes , SSD , Performance and Near line storage pools;
 Migrate data from HP 4300 San to 3Par San;
6. SCCM and VMM deployment
 Deploy SCCM for desktop application, WSUS patch and image delivery;
 Configure SCCM for remote control of branch sites;
 Create reporting of desktop inventory , hardware software audits;
 VMM deployment to manage HA failover cluster and single legacy VMware ESX host;
 Build hyper-v templates for quick VM builds for future server builds;
 Automate disaster recover failover to 2 hosts allowing 2 hosts to fail in a 4 host cluster;

 Source and configure monitoring software Whatsupgold (servers) Spiceworks (desktops);
 Configure ICMP and SNMP monitoring on all servers and VM , system state , Storage ,
Ram;
 Create alert profiles , system outage , state change;
 Create detailed state change reports of all state changes within network weekly;
