LESSON TWENTY-ONE – WHAT MAKES A
MURMURER

I. THEIR DISPOSITION
Murmuring and complaining are both
connected to discontentment.
Murmuring has to do with
 A secret gathering of grumblers or
 Grumbling and complaining under your breath
Complaining has more to do with placing
blame.

II. THEIR MOTIVATION
 They justify their little assembly of
murmurers
 They rationalize their exaggerations of the
truth
 They excuse the harm that they cause
Because they believe, in the end, they will be
more comfortable.

III. THEIR ACTION
They become followers of those who have what
they want because it is more important to
them to get what they want than it is to be true
to the Lord.
