WHAT’S RECRUITMENT ?
Recruitment is described as the process of searching and
obtaining applicants for jobs, from among whom right people
can be selected.
1. DIFFERENT & EFFECTIVE WAYSTO CONDUCT A
RECRUITMENT.
1. CAMPUS RECRUITMENTS.
Many Organizations conduct their recruitment
from selecting Candidates from Various graduate,
post-graduate and professional educational
institutions, like IITs, IIMs, and other various
medical and law institutions in order to get
applicants with fresh talents, so that they can be
easily molded to meet the requirements.
2. E - RECRUITING.
This method of Recruitment is conducted
through online medium from various job portals
Like Naukri.com, Monster, Indeed, Shine, career
builder etc. This method of recruiting enables
organizations to reach through large number of
applicants, usually for entry level & mid level of
job roles. This method of recruiting is useful
during PANDEMICS too.
3. ONLINE NETWORKING EVENTS.
Various online HR events, online job fairs,
Seminars are some of the ways which can give a
perfect recruiting platform during these TIMES.
Human resource personnel who are having an
adequate skill sets can easily acquire new interns
an candidates. These events can be carry out by
video meetings from apps like Zoom, Cisco,
Google meet and new emerging technology like
MeetinVR.
4. RECRUITING FROM SOCIAL MEDIA.
One of the rapidly emerging ways of conducting
recruitment is by use of Social media. In today’s fast
forward generation, there are many social media
platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter,
Whatsapp etc. Which can be used extensively for
getting applications from vast pool of human
resource. This process involves Screening of
candidates, collection of data through smartphones &
computer systems.
GETTING REFERRALS FROM PEOPLE ON LINKEDIN.
WHAT ARE REFERALS ?
In simple words, Referral is a structured process which is based on finding
and acquiring right people who are equipped with essential skills and
qualifications which are currently required in a job, by asking and
considering references from existing employees in the organization.
HOW TO GET REFERRALS FROM PEOPLE ON LINKEDIN ?
1. CREATING & DEVELOPING A LINKEDIN
PROFILE.
The first step is to build a LinkedIn profile and
developing it effectively by updating it with
necessary information about self. These
information includes uploading a profile picture,
providing an influential descriptions about
yourself, updating with information regarding your
qualifications, skillsets, interests, previous work
experiences, any Course certifications and so on.
These things are most essential as it can help you
up to 50% to get referrals. The more your profile is
interesting, the more people will observe you.
2. NETWORKING.
It’s been always said that the ability to create a
network with different people by a Person is said to
be his/her NET-WORTH. Networking on LinkedIn
is one the most essential step which can make an
effective impact in boosting your referrals from
people. Making Connections with people who are
having same backgrounds & interests, connecting
with alumni, employers, employees from different
organizations, friends working on different areas,
following business personnel. In this way you can
interact with more people and can get updated with
the openings for new job opportunities.
3. BEING CREATIVE & INNOVATIVE.
As its always proved that creativity and innovation are
most important keys to unlock you way to success, the
same ways these two things can also help you to get
better referrals on LinkedIn. As this platform is also a
medium for showcasing your potential and skills, so it’s
the time to write a POSTS on skills in executing a task,
finding new CREATIVE ways to performing various
task by showcasing a VIDEO which can be essential for
an organizational job. Research different problems
which are prevailing in current business trends and then
share LINKS to show a INNOVATIVE way to resolve
them. In this way you can get observed by more and
more people as they will show interest on your works.
4. SEARCHING, ASKING AND JOINING.
After developing your profile & building connections with
the people on LinkedIn, the most important steps comes to
interact. This process involves SEARCHING out regular
feeds for various opportunities which meet your skill. As
LinkedIn has a vast social resource, there are plenty of
social groups which provides various links from where you
can have conversations with the people who belong from
different organizations ASKING them about openings they
can provide, Join their groups, send them messages,
comment on their posts, showcase your skills that you have
and can be essential for that job, so that they can consider
your reference easily and then JOIN them in no time.
RECRUITMENT STEPS USING SOCIAL MEDIA.
As previously we have already discussed about possibility of using Social media for
recruitment, now lets check the steps which can be implemented to conduct it.
1.CREATING YOUR ORGANIZATION
ACCOUNT ON SOCIAL MEDIA.
This is the first step, which lays down the foundation
Of executing your plan. Various social media
networks like FACEBOOK, Twitter, LinkedIn,
Instagram, Pinterest and more are the places where
many people connect in the world. A perfect medium
to find applicants. So in order to start up the
recruitment process you need to create a SOCIAL
MEDIA ACCOUNT.
2. SETTING UP AND DEVELOPINGTHE
ACCOUNT.
This is the second step which involves developing
the social media account of your organization in
such a way that creates itself a unique BRANDING.
Update it with all the information of your
organization like NAME, location, type of
organization, mission, vison, work culture, area of
operations, how your organization is contributing a
change in today’s world and societies and so on.
CONNECT with other organizations where people
visit of opportunities. In this way people will
notice and make a phenomenal influence.
3. CREATING A JOB ADVERTISEMENT.
This is the third step. If an organization wants to
conduct a recruitment from social media, it
requires to create a job advertisement for particular
openings for which they want to hire. The job
advertisement should be CREATIVE, precise and
interesting which will briefly describe, what are the
skillsets required to apply for the job. How to
apply, nature of the job. In this way you can
TARGET those applicants who are looking for that
job. You can use GOOGLE ADS,
Facebook/Instagram ads, Bing ads etc.
4. SETTING UP JOB APPLICATION
DOCUMENTATION PROCESS.
After advertising for the job role, many applicants
will want of apply for that job. But for moving
forward in recruitment process, the organization
needs to collect the documents and resume, which
contains information about the candidate needed
for evaluations.
For setting up the documentation process, you need
to set up a portal or website, where the applicants
can upload their information and resume. For this
you can use GOOGLE FORMS, cogito forms,
123forms OR even a organization’s website, or
LINKEDIN profile where you can carry out this
process.
5. ONLINE ASSESMENTTESTS & INTERVIEWS.
After accepting application of the applicants, you need
to conduct a screening of those applicants and in order
to cross check that them based on the information they
have provided, you need to conduct an online assessment
test and interview, based on which you can move forward
for selection.
For conducting an Online assessment test you can use
websites like EKLAVVYA, Think exams, Classmarker and
even TCSION too.
For conducting an Online interview process you can use,
ZOOM meetings, Google meet, Cisco webex and so on.
You can send their links to respective email ID’s.
6. SELECTION NOTIFICATION.
After completing all the previous steps, the next and
final step comes, which is uploading the list of selected
candidates and uploading their final result.
This process can be conducted by providing a link of
GOOGLE DRIVE or uploading list on social media or
sending the selected candidates link on their mail,
which also includes, approval or acceptance letter and
other onboarding process checklist and kits. This
process can also be conduct as post recruitment process
too.

  • 7. 1. DIFFERENT & EFFECTIVE WAYSTO CONDUCT A RECRUITMENT. 1. CAMPUS RECRUITMENTS. Many Organizations conduct their recruitment from selecting Candidates from Various graduate, post-graduate and professional educational institutions, like IITs, IIMs, and other various medical and law institutions in order to get applicants with fresh talents, so that they can be easily molded to meet the requirements.

This method of Recruitment is conducted through online medium from various job portals Like Naukri.com, Monster, Indeed, Shine, career builder etc. This method of recruiting enables organizations to reach through large number of applicants, usually for entry level & mid level of job roles. This method of recruiting is useful during PANDEMICS too.
  • 9. 3. ONLINE NETWORKING EVENTS. Various online HR events, online job fairs, Seminars are some of the ways which can give a perfect recruiting platform during these TIMES. Human resource personnel who are having an adequate skill sets can easily acquire new interns an candidates. These events can be carry out by video meetings from apps like Zoom, Cisco, Google meet and new emerging technology like MeetinVR.

In today’s fast forward generation, there are many social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp etc. Which can be used extensively for getting applications from vast pool of human resource. This process involves Screening of candidates, collection of data through smartphones & computer systems.

In simple words, Referral is a structured process which is based on finding and acquiring right people who are equipped with essential skills and qualifications which are currently required in a job, by asking and considering references from existing employees in the organization.
  • 13. HOW TO GET REFERRALS FROM PEOPLE ON LINKEDIN ? 1. CREATING & DEVELOPING A LINKEDIN PROFILE. The first step is to build a LinkedIn profile and developing it effectively by updating it with necessary information about self. These information includes uploading a profile picture, providing an influential descriptions about yourself, updating with information regarding your qualifications, skillsets, interests, previous work experiences, any Course certifications and so on. As previously we have already discussed about possibility of using Social media for recruitment, now lets check the steps which can be implemented to conduct it. 1.CREATING YOUR ORGANIZATION ACCOUNT ON SOCIAL MEDIA. This is the first step, which lays down the foundation Of executing your plan. Various social media networks like FACEBOOK, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and more are the places where many people connect in the world. A perfect medium to find applicants. So in order to start up the recruitment process you need to create a SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT.
  • 19. 2. SETTING UP AND DEVELOPINGTHE ACCOUNT. This is the second step which involves developing the social media account of your organization in such a way that creates itself a unique BRANDING. Update it with all the information of your organization like NAME, location, type of organization, mission, vison, work culture, area of operations, how your organization is contributing a change in today’s world and societies and so on. CONNECT with other organizations where people visit of opportunities. In this way people will notice and make a phenomenal influence.
  • 20. 3. CREATING A JOB ADVERTISEMENT. This is the third step. If an organization wants to conduct a recruitment from social media, it requires to create a job advertisement for particular openings for which they want to hire. The job advertisement should be CREATIVE, precise and interesting which will briefly describe, what are the skillsets required to apply for the job. How to apply, nature of the job. In this way you can TARGET those applicants who are looking for that job. You can use GOOGLE ADS, Facebook/Instagram ads, Bing ads etc.
  • 21. 4. SETTING UP JOB APPLICATION DOCUMENTATION PROCESS. After advertising for the job role, many applicants will want of apply for that job. But for moving forward in recruitment process, the organization needs to collect the documents and resume, which contains information about the candidate needed for evaluations. For setting up the documentation process, you need to set up a portal or website, where the applicants can upload their information and resume. For this you can use GOOGLE FORMS, cogito forms, 123forms OR even a organization’s website, or LINKEDIN profile where you can carry out this process.
  • 22. 5. ONLINE ASSESMENTTESTS & INTERVIEWS. After accepting application of the applicants, you need to conduct a screening of those applicants and in order to cross check that them based on the information they have provided, you need to conduct an online assessment test and interview, based on which you can move forward for selection. For conducting an Online assessment test you can use websites like EKLAVVYA, Think exams, Classmarker and even TCSION too. For conducting an Online interview process you can use, ZOOM meetings, Google meet, Cisco webex and so on. You can send their links to respective email ID’s.
  • 23. 6. SELECTION NOTIFICATION. After completing all the previous steps, the next and final step comes, which is uploading the list of selected candidates and uploading their final result. This process can be conducted by providing a link of GOOGLE DRIVE or uploading list on social media or sending the selected candidates link on their mail, which also includes, approval or acceptance letter and other onboarding process checklist and kits. This process can also be conduct as post recruitment process too.
