A Robot is a mechanical device that performs
human tasks either normally or by remote
controll.It is a re programmable,
multifunctional, automatic device. It is not self
dependable but when programmer burn
instructions to its memory then it works by
following the instructions.

Robotics is science of designing or building an
application of robots.Simply robotics is a study of
robot.We can learn about robot and making robot by
learning robotics.There are various kinds of robotics

The world robot was introduced to the public by
Czech writer Karel (1890-1938) in his play R.U.R
published in 1920.The play begins in a factory that
makes artificial people called robots.
The word “Robotics” used to describe this field of
study. American scientist and science fiction writer
made the robot from studying robotics.

* It needs a supply of power
* It needs maintenance to keep it running
* It costs money to make or buy a robot

15. We the three students of Computer department in Bogra Polytechnic Institute
have made a robot named V1. It is a multi functional robot. When human
entrance our Academic Building gate it calls
“Assalamu Alaikum Welcome to Bogra Polytechnic Institute”
and rise it’s right hand.
