Kanthapura is the novel about situation of India in
pre-colonial time when India was reign by Britishers. This
novel also reflect the orthodox society of India.
Kanthapura is a name of village ,in south India.Raja rao
talk about it. He give speech to his words to put them in
mouth of characters of novel. This village is fiction of Raja
rao.
Moorthy is a protagonist of novel.It is narrated by
widow woman named Achkka,a wise man in village.
