AS THE STRONGEST BRAND
IN THE UK’S CONCRETE PLANT
SECTOR, WE HAVE ESTABLISHED
THE LARGEST WET CONCRETE
PLANT IN THE REGION,
WHICH HAS NOW STARTED
PRODUCTION IN LONDON
The batching unit has been specially designed, and differs
significantly from standard units. No vertical stairways were
used, and four different floor platforms have been formed.
The high capacity filtering system minimizes dust forma-
tion, and thus an environmentally sensitive system has been
achieved. A fixed crane has been integrated into the system
to facilitate the lifting of heavy equipment. The mixers, which
are kept clean by a high pressure mixer washing system, dis-
charge waste water directly into the waste pool via a special
chute. In order to minimize corrosion, most of the structure
has been hot dip galvanized.
The silos are mounted on steel legs, and the filling lines are
designed to be loaded from a single point. The maintenance
platforms at the bottom of the silo are connected to each oth-
er, and outflows from the silos are carried out through these
connected platforms.
This allows extended rest periods while climbing, thus offering
a more comfortable climbing experience. The 6x75 m³ bunkers
are fed via a shuttle pre-feed system with a capacity of 400
tons/hour. In order to utilize the bunker meshes at maximum
capacity, a material spreading feature has been added to the
shuttle conveyor. The peripheral bunker-top maintenance plat-
form has been designed in compliance with UK Safety Stan-
dards. A two-story maintenance platform has been added be-
low the bunker to allow easy intervention at each level. Inflows
to the bottom of the bunker are controlled via separate doors.
Safety has been assured at the maximum level.
The commissioning of the MEKA MB300W plant we manufactured for CAPITAL
CONCRETE in Wembley, London, has now been completed. The concrete plant in
question has a capacity of up to 300 m³/h and is equipped with a 2x5.0 m³ mixer.
The ability of the mixers to operate separately provides significant energy savings
on days when lower capacity operation is required.

The ability of MEKA to design and manufac-
ture custom-made products is well known in
the international market, leading our company
to be selected for many special projects re-
quiring a bespoke experience. Recently, our
company has designed and manufactured
a conveyor belt measuring over 300 meters
which that allows the direct transfer of the
outputs of a crushing & screening plant to the
ship, thus reducing operational costs of our
Norwegian client.
The challenging terrain had previously prevented the use
of such conveyors from the plant, which is located close to
the sea in the Hendvågen Averøy region of Norway. With its
unique solutions, MEKA continues to be the first choice of
professionals all over the world. The above customer has al-
ready started to use our 300+ meter conveyor, and has stat-
ed that they are very satisfied with our solution to their ship

responsible for design and production, said:
“The special designs and production quality
of MEKA’s products are very important, but
more valuable and unique is MEKA’s deep
engineering knowledge, design experience
and attention to detail.”
Manufacturing plants and equipment in the fields of cons-
truction, mining and ready-mix concrete demands a strong
business organization, high-capacity and a technological
production infrastructure, but also extensive and effective
sales and after-sales services. In addition to these, our
special design capabilities and excellent result-oriented
engineering knowledge make us a distinctive, well-known
and sought-after brand in the world. The most important
criterion in the recruitment processes of our R&D unit, which
has grown to become one of MEKA’ greatest assets since
its establishment, is to find people with whom we can work
for many years in line with our corporate culture and values.
We are aware that knowledge is today the most valuable
asset, and we attach more importance to information than
anything else. This sets us apart from all of our competitors,
and allows us to face the world without fear. We believe that
the solutions developed by our multinational and experien-

THE SECRET
BEHIND MEKA
EQUIPMENT:
EXCELLENT DESIGN
AND HIGHEST QUALITY
COMPONENTS
IN EVERY SINGLE DETAIL
The quality of the final product is determined by its complementary
elements and the processing process. However, similar to the “most
robust link in the chain” concept, it is not enough to develop only
one aspect of the product if high production quality is to be ensured.
Small complementary elements and components play an important
role, and demand the right choices to be made and strictly applied
input controls.
MEKA never compromises on the quality of the parts it uses, or the
quality of its subcontractors, and has developed strong relationships
with the most powerful and reliable component suppliers.
We offer only state-of-the-art products in our concrete batching and
crushing & screening plants, and this ensures safe and continuous
operation with minimal downtime in the long term.
Robustness is not only a distinctive feature of MEKA’s products, being
also part of the production philosophy of the company since its es-
tablishment. Our aim is to manufacture the best equipment, that can
operate under the most challenging conditions you may encounter,
by carrying out our calculations and designs as a team of engineers,
technicians and welders with extensive experience in the sector, all
of which is based on the expectations of MEKA’s users. MEKA has
proven to be extremely reliable, even under extreme natural con-
ditions, extreme temperatures, long and continuous operation, high
dynamic stress and heavy workload.
We are honored to be referred to as “MEKA: A
manufacturer of trouble-free equipment, with excel-
lent designs and high quality components” by those
who use our products in over 85 countries on five
continents. The comments made by both the users
and reviewers of our products are generally the
same: The quality of MEKA lies in the details.

KEREM KAYBAL, SALES AND
MARKETING DIRECTOR AT MEKA:
OUR GOAL IS
TO RANK AMONG
THE SECTOR’S BEST
ON A GLOBAL SCALE
The roots of our company have grown to support our internation-
al success in the design and manufacturing of concrete batching
plants. Following our initial efforts in this field, we have turned our fo-
cus to the crushing & screening sector, and are moving forward with
confident steps, aiming to become a global brand through the sign-
ing of important projects also in this field. We have gained invaluable
experience in both fields by working with professional companies in
various countries, where different quality standards are applied and
different geographical conditions prevail.
We produce cone, vertical shaft, tertiary and secondary crushers, as
well as screening and washing equipment for the crushing & screen-
ing and mining sectors, as well as mobile or stationary crushing &
screening plants. We develop and manufacture mobile, stationary
and compact concrete batching plants, concrete recycling systems
and fiber feeding systems. We are also engaged in the creation of
concrete road, RCC and precast applications for the ready mixed
concrete sector.
MEKA products are used by industry leaders in many regions around
the world. The companies of Hochtief, Vinci and Strabag, as the high-
est ranking companies on the ENR225 (Engineering News Record)
list, which lists the world’s big league of globally operating contract-
ing companies in terms of their foreign business volume, and many
other contractor companies on this list, prefer MEKA products for the
concrete and aggregate production tasks in their projects. Our ulti-
mate goal is to be the best in the sector on a global scale.
Providing a brief overview of MEKA’s international
activities and successes, Kerem Kaybal, Sales and
Marketing Director at MEKA, said: “The target set
on the day MEKA was established is still our main
target. We would like to be the best in our field in
the world, and to prove Turkey’s manufacturing
capabilities to the world.”

MEKA MS AND MGS SERIES
OF INCLINED SCREENS,
OFFERING HIGH SCREENING
EFFICIENCY AND PROFITABILITY,
ARE AT THE HEART OF CRUSHING &
SCREENING AND MINING PLANTS
The screening process is as important as the crushing process, and screens are like the heart of quarries.
Screens are used in various stages of the crushing process and during the classification of the end product.
MEKA’s screens, designed with a weld-free body and adjustable vibration feature to provide different material
types and sizes, provide both high quality and efficient screening. Our screens, ranging in size from 2m²–16
m², can be provided with different types of wire mesh in various sizes, including grizzly perforated sheets of up
to four layers, and polyurethane and steel wire meshes. With their washing option, they are able to meet the
needs of a wide range of applications.
MEKA’s inclined screens, designed with a weld-free body and an adjustable vibra-
tion feature to resist the high vibrations and long periods of stress for associated
with different material types and sizes, provide both high quality and efficient
screening. This feature has led MEKA’s MS and MGS series screens to be preferred
all over the world, from the United States to Africa, and from Nicaragua to Russia.
3130
MEKA MS AND MGS SERIES INCLINED SCREENS,
OFFERING HIGH SCREENING EFFICIENCY AND PROFITABILITY
Although the crushing of materials is an important process
in a crushing & screening plant, the most important factor af-
fecting plant efficiency is the complete and proper screening
of the crushed material. As the key component of a crushing
& screening plant, screens are used to classify materials into
different types in various sections of the production line, and
to separate them into various sizes, from the feeding stage
to the end-product. High levels of material return due to in-
sufficient screening, or the mixing of crushed materials with
each other may affect the profitability of the crushing and
screening plant.
MEKA’s MS and MGS series inclined screens, which have
been developed following intensive analyses and research-
es into inclined screens, are designed to ensure high screen-
ing efficiency in different screening types, and to offer differ-
ent vibration characteristics, which are selected depending
on the required type and screening size of the material.
MODULAR-TYPE DRIVE SYSTEM
MEKA’s MS and MGS series inclined screens are equipped
with a modular-type drive system to allow easy servicing.
The two-piece drive-shaft system can be detached one at
a time, reducing servicing duration. Additionally, the cardan
shaft that connects the modular shafts is more advantageous
than the traditional heavier and single-piece shafts in terms
of maintenance.
HUCK-BOLTED BODY
Screen bodies with a conventional bolted assembly suffer
from nut loosing and bolt shear as a result of the vibration,
reducing operational efficiency and posing significant risks
in terms of occupational safety. MEKA’s MS and MGS series
screens, with their huck-bolted assembly, require no bolt
maintenance, ensuring workplace security. In Turkey, MEKA
is the only manufacturer offering huck-bolted assembly in-
clined screens as standard.
MEKA’s MS and MGS series inclined screens, which offer a combination of inter-
national quality, efficient operation and trust, are robust and trouble-free, and are
ideally suited to companies seeking to replace the existing screens in their plant, to
add new production lines to their plant, or to establish completely new plants.

The crushing & screening plant located in
Bulancak – a town on the Black Sea coast
that is the largest district of Giresun in terms
of population and economy – is being op-
erated by the Bulancak Municipality, and is
wholly appreciated in its performance.
In a recent statement, the Mayor said: “We have renewed
our municipality’s sand pebble facility through the modern-
ization of the construction site with the support of MEKA.
As a result, the production capacity of our municipality has
increased 56-fold. Our plant has been integrated with the
concrete batching plant, and is today producing both for
external customers and our municipality.
Since our crusher facility has been established, it its cost has
been recouped, and great contributions have been made
to our municipality through the generation of high levels of
income, corresponding to several times of its initial cost.
Bulancak Municipality’s request for a proposal from MEKA
in a project to increase the capacity of the plant that was
established to break the creek material in Aksu Stream, and
to produce high quality crushed stone, was handled by our
R&D experts who designed the requested plant in the most
effective manner, and the plant was installed accordingly.
The aggregate production of the Bulancak Crushing &
Screening Plant addresses one of the most significant
needs of the coastal settlements in the Black Sea region,
and is appreciated for its efficient layout on a narrow site,
the quality of its equipment and its operational efficiency.

With examples constructed already in Poland, USA, Sivas and Giresun in Turkey, and having been selected for
various projects abroad, MEKA Cone Crushers have been successfully overcoming the challenge of crushing
the extra-hard stones found in the Black Sea’s cold creeks, thus ensuring a sustainable yield. Having proven
their performance in the crushing of creek materials extracted from Aksu Creek, the MEKA Cone Crusher has
been continuing production having proven its success in overcoming such challenging tasks.
MEKA Cone Crushers have been selected also for the crushing & screening plant of Bulancak Municipality,
and are among the best indicators of our determination in winning the trust of our customers in the crushing &
screening equipment sector.
AN EXPERT IN CRUSHING HARD AND
ABRASIVE ORES AND MATERIALS:
MEKA CONE CRUSHER
Cone Crushers have for some time been used in primary, secondary and tertiary
crushing roles. They are employed for the crushing of hard and abrasive materials
in both the aggregate and mining sectors. Although they are designed especially
for the crushing of river gravel, basalt and granite, cone crushers are also used for
the effective crushing of the hard and abrasive materials found at iron, chrome, mag-
nesite and copper mines. Their robust design provides the necessary strength and
stability for the crushing of extra-hard materials, with low maintenance costs being
an additional advantage. The MEKA Cone Crusher, which is the most ambitious do-
mestic product in its field, and is a regular feature of our stands at the fairs we attend
abroad, ensures user confidence due to its high efficiency in the plants in which it is
installed.

As a result of the positive feedback and high demand from our MEKA MCS900 and
MCH900 cone crusher customers, the production of which is based on more than
30 years of experience, we have completed the R&D and prototype/test phases of
the MCH1150 Cone Crusher, being a larger model in the same series.
IN LINE WITH THE INCREASING DEMAND,
WE HAVE BROADENED OUR PRODUCT
RANGE IN THE AREA OF CONE CRUSHERS.
A NEW PRODUCT:
MEKA MCH 1150
With their robust design and large production capacity, MEKA cone crushers offer the required strength and
stability necessary for the crushing of extra-hard materials, while ensuring low maintenance costs as an addi-
tional advantage. The MCH 1150 that has recently joined the MEKA Cone Crusher product range comes with
many superior qualities, and ensures trouble-free operation.
The MCH1150, the new member of MEKA cone crusher family, is a superior piece of equipment that blends
MEKA quality with the advantage of high capacity.
In the MCH 1150, the special alloy bronze bearings are lubricated with an improved atmospheric recirculation
system. The temperature, flow rate and filter output values of the lubricant are maintained within certain lim-
its. Output aperture adjustment is carried out via the control panel. The system automatically increases the
aperture in the event of overload, and the aperture returns to the set value once the load has dissipated. The
aperture adjustment system is activated if an uncrushable item of material, such as a piece of iron, enters the
crusher chamber, and causes the main shaft to come down and eject the uncrushable item.

Of the six plants in the project, two MEKA Stationary Concrete
Batching Plants, with 60 m³/h capacity each, are producing the
concrete required for the starting and end points of the railway;
while four Meka Mobile Concrete Batching Plants, offering 30
m³/h and 60 m³/h capacity, are undertaking the concrete produc-
tion for the stations and viaduct structures.
Commenting on this issue, İbrahim Keresteci, Machinery Opera-
tion Manager at Yapı Merkezi, said: “MEKA has been our solution
partner in our North African projects, and we have witnessed
both its strong company structure, and the quality, design and
performance of its products. We know that the services offered
to us before sales will continue also after the sales have been
made, and that is why MEKA Concrete Batching Plants were our
first choice in the 389-km Ethiopia Railway Project.
The Awash-Kombolcha-Hara Gebaya Railway Project, designed
by Yapı Merkezi, will start out from the northeast of Awash city
and continue to the north; reaching Hara Gebaya via the city of
Kombolcha.
The project will make a major contribution to transportation and
transport traffic, and will also play an important role in the import
and export activities to be carried out through Djibouti Port, and
positively affect the connection between the north and the cen-
ter of the country.

INTERRUPTIONS
The CENGİZ-MAPA-LİMAK-KOLİN-KALYON consortium, op-
erating under the name IGA (Istanbul Grand Airport), chose
MEKA Concrete Batching Plants for the Istanbul 3rd Airport
project, which stands to become the world’s largest airport,
with a capacity of 150 million passengers/year, and the fifth
largest airport in terms of surface area when all stages are
operational.
The seven MEKA Concrete Batching Plants established for
this project operated without interruptions or technical prob-
lems, and produced a total of more than 6 million cubic me-
ters of concrete, securing the trust of the consortium.
For this significant project, two 2x250 m³/s high capacity
MEKA Concrete Batching Plants, two MEKA Concrete Batch-
ing Plants with 4.5 m3 dual mixers, and two 2x180 m³/h and
three 3x135 m³/h MEKA Concrete Batching Plants for the
special Apron Concrete were used. These plants, which
were developed upon a special request, are highly techno-
logical products that are equipped with aggregate bunkers
with independent weighing hoppers, PLC additional mod-
ules that increase special weighing sensitivity, and a special
distribution system between mixers.

SOURCED FROM A MEKA CONCRETE
BATCHING PLANT
Two MEKA Compact Concrete Batching Plants are being used in the construction of the new US Diplomatic
Operations buildings, which are considered to be an investment into the future of US-Mexico relations. These
new diplomatic facilities, incorporating design concepts honoring the architectural traditions of both the United
States and Mexico, represent more than $1.5 billion invested into the Mexican economy through contracts with
contractors, suppliers and employees, and will provide employment for over 4,000 local people. The MBC60,
used by ENKA in the projects to which it provides consultancy and design services, is equipped with the widest
possible platforms, and is one of the easiest plants to use. Large platforms permit easy and safe access to the
main parts of the mixers and weighing bunkers. Through its heavy and robust main chassis, its extreme dura-
bility, its safe transportation capability, its continuous long-life operation capacity, and its ability to minimize the
impact of vibration on the weighing sensors, the plant ensures precise weighing.

Jordan Modern Ready-Mix Concrete Company,
affiliated with the Amman based Manaseer group
of companies, is the largest ready-mixed con-
crete producer of Jordan and meets the majority
of the concrete need in the country in general.
The company, which has preferred MEKA Con-
crete Plants in many important projects in the
past, has reached an agreement with MEKA in
order to renew its 12 mixers of 3 m³ capacity.
MEKA engineers believe that the mixer quality
highly influences the overall plant quality. Setting
off from here, we may say that the mixer choice
of the Manaseer Company will set an example
for ready-mix concrete and plant producers at
the national and international platforms. MEKA
continued the success of being one of the best-
known manufacturers in the field of single-shaft,
twin-shaft and planetary concrete mixers.

The Qatar’s capital city – Doha will have one of the
most advanced metro systems in the world by the
end of 2019.
UNStudio, the company responsible of the project’s
design, which is called “Vaulted Spaces” highlight-
ed the region’s vernacular architecture, acting as a
bridge between the country’s past and future. Design
of the project derived from the historic Islamic archi-
tecture using it in a modern way.
The “Doha Metro” project will be one of the most ad-
vanced rail transit systems in the world. It will have
four lines with an approximate overall length of 300
km and 100 metro stations. It will be an integral com-
ponent of the larger Qatar Rail network, which will in-
clude a long-distance rail for passengers and freight,
linking Qatar to the GCC, and Lusail’s city local light
rail transit (LRT).
The main contractor and company overlooking the
construction of this ambitious project is a Saudi com-
pany Saudi Binladin Group. For such a large-scale
project that requires huge amounts of ready-mixed
concrete a giant in cement, aggregates and ready-
mix concrete production – Lafarge was chosen as a
ready-mix concrete supplier.
Understanding the significance and scale of the proj-
ect, Lafarge has committed to supply ready-mixed
concrete on the Phase-1 construction of Doha Metro;
Green Line Project, also known as the Academic due
to it’s principal destination purpose - to connect Edu-
cational Center to the city center, furthermore it links
to Umm Slal and the Industrial Area South.
Project’s daily demand for ready-mixed concrete is
more than 2000 m3
. From past to nowadays MEKA
Concrete Plants has been justifying the confidence of
Lafarge. Therefore, basing on the experience of pre-
vious years, Lafarge has not retreated from its part-
nership with MEKA when it comes to choose a worthy
and reliable equipment. On the other hand, the prime
contractor Saudi Binladin Group is also a partner and
an old client of MEKA on his projects.
MEKA presented to the project it’s renewed product
- Stationary Concrete Batching Plant MEKA MB-180W
(180 m³/h). Concrete Batching Plant was installed and
commissioned at the Lafarge’s worksite near the Al
Rayyan highway, located right in the center of the
project.
Being significant and at the same time important proj-
ect not only for the capital city Doha, but also for the
whole Qatar, it has become a new direction in grow-
ing partnership between MEKA and Lafarge.

The aim of MEKA after-sales support is to pre-
vent the interruption of production in plants,
by effectively resolving any problems faced by
customers earlier than expected. “MEKA is a
professional, solution-oriented brand focused
on crushing & screening machines, speciali-
zed plants, strong design and production, and
especially, after-sales support.”
MEKA IS STREETS
AHEAD, WITH ITS
STRONG AFTER-
SALES SERVICE
ORGANIZATION
Among the most important factors affecting the crushing &
screening plants and machines used in the construction and
mining sectors are the concept of hourly production, the fact
that production is generally made for contracted works, and
the fact that the products are delivered to companies through
contracts.
The accompanying liabilities include risks financial losses and
loss of company reputation. All of the machines and plants
we have produced to date have satisfied our customers, who
have never been put at risk. The main reason for this is the
after-sales support we provide to our customers in addition to
our high quality production standard.
To understand the motivation behind this support, one needs
to look only at MEKA’s operations.
MEKA provides after-sales service and spare-part support in
25 countries through its local partners, allowing us to meet
the needs of our customers and to come up with solutions
within hours. Our partners, which who keep a stock of spa-
re parts, have experienced technical staff who are ready to
provide continuous service. MEKA engineers and technical
personnel undergo periodical training to enable them to keep
track of the latest developments and innovations, and we also
share with them our experience in finding the fastest and most
economical solutions to problems.
We will continue to maintain our leading position also in after-
sales services, in line with the most important requirements of
the sector identified by MEKA, and based on the principle of
100% customer satisfaction that has been adopted by every
employee.

MEKA MICRONIZED
SCREEN:
AN UNRIVALED
PRODUCT
DEVELOPED BY
MEKA FOR THE
CLASSIFICATION
OF MICRONIZED
MATERIALS
MEKA’s fine material screen is capable of scre-
ening the fed material to sizes of 05 mm down
to 200 microns. The applied mesh technology
allows screening without clogging. Thanks to the
amplification structures, the screen body vibra-
tes at low amplitude while the mesh frames are
vibrating at high amplitudes. In this way, large
quantities of small-sized material can be scree-
ned with high efficiency.
Although MEKA micronized screens joined the
MEKA product crushing & screening equipment
family only recently, they have witnessed intense
demand in many different projects.

MATERIAL
WASHERS:
EFFECTIVE
WASHING OF
NATURAL AND
CRUSHED
MATERIALS
Fine material washers, also frequently named
dewatering screws are utilized to clean and de-
water fine aggregates typically minus 10 mm or 5
mm (3/8’’ or 4mesh) to fine tune end products to
meet specifications and to separate water solu-
ble clay, silt, and micro sized fine particles.
This is accomplished by hydraulic separation; using water to
clean and classify by weight. Larger particles (Sand) weigh
more so they sink and are collected in the bottom of the
trough. They are discharged by steel spiral shaft with replace-
able polyurethane or cast steel linings. The smaller lighter
unwanted particles are floated to the surface and discharged
over the weirs at the lower end of the machine.

  • 6. AS THE STRONGEST BRAND IN THE UK’S CONCRETE PLANT SECTOR, WE HAVE ESTABLISHED THE LARGEST WET CONCRETE PLANT IN THE REGION, WHICH HAS NOW STARTED PRODUCTION IN LONDON The batching unit has been specially designed, and differs significantly from standard units. No vertical stairways were used, and four different floor platforms have been formed. The high capacity filtering system minimizes dust forma- tion, and thus an environmentally sensitive system has been achieved. A fixed crane has been integrated into the system to facilitate the lifting of heavy equipment. The mixers, which are kept clean by a high pressure mixer washing system, dis- charge waste water directly into the waste pool via a special chute. In order to minimize corrosion, most of the structure has been hot dip galvanized. The silos are mounted on steel legs, and the filling lines are designed to be loaded from a single point. The maintenance platforms at the bottom of the silo are connected to each oth- er, and outflows from the silos are carried out through these connected platforms. This allows extended rest periods while climbing, thus offering a more comfortable climbing experience. The 6x75 m³ bunkers are fed via a shuttle pre-feed system with a capacity of 400 tons/hour. In order to utilize the bunker meshes at maximum capacity, a material spreading feature has been added to the shuttle conveyor. The peripheral bunker-top maintenance plat- form has been designed in compliance with UK Safety Stan- dards. A two-story maintenance platform has been added be- low the bunker to allow easy intervention at each level. Inflows to the bottom of the bunker are controlled via separate doors. Safety has been assured at the maximum level. The commissioning of the MEKA MB300W plant we manufactured for CAPITAL CONCRETE in Wembley, London, has now been completed. The concrete plant in question has a capacity of up to 300 m³/h and is equipped with a 2x5.0 m³ mixer. The ability of the mixers to operate separately provides significant energy savings on days when lower capacity operation is required. You can access video news by scanning the QR code. 1110

  • 14. THE SECRET BEHIND MEKA EQUIPMENT: EXCELLENT DESIGN AND HIGHEST QUALITY COMPONENTS IN EVERY SINGLE DETAIL The quality of the final product is determined by its complementary elements and the processing process. However, similar to the “most robust link in the chain” concept, it is not enough to develop only one aspect of the product if high production quality is to be ensured. Small complementary elements and components play an important role, and demand the right choices to be made and strictly applied input controls. MEKA never compromises on the quality of the parts it uses, or the quality of its subcontractors, and has developed strong relationships with the most powerful and reliable component suppliers. We offer only state-of-the-art products in our concrete batching and crushing & screening plants, and this ensures safe and continuous operation with minimal downtime in the long term. Robustness is not only a distinctive feature of MEKA’s products, being also part of the production philosophy of the company since its es- tablishment. Our aim is to manufacture the best equipment, that can operate under the most challenging conditions you may encounter, by carrying out our calculations and designs as a team of engineers, technicians and welders with extensive experience in the sector, all of which is based on the expectations of MEKA’s users. MEKA has proven to be extremely reliable, even under extreme natural con- ditions, extreme temperatures, long and continuous operation, high dynamic stress and heavy workload. We are honored to be referred to as “MEKA: A manufacturer of trouble-free equipment, with excel- lent designs and high quality components” by those who use our products in over 85 countries on five continents. The comments made by both the users and reviewers of our products are generally the same: The quality of MEKA lies in the details. You can access sample videos of the customer satisfaction enjoyed by MEKA by scanning the QR code. 2726
  • 15. KEREM KAYBAL, SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR AT MEKA: OUR GOAL IS TO RANK AMONG THE SECTOR’S BEST ON A GLOBAL SCALE The roots of our company have grown to support our internation- al success in the design and manufacturing of concrete batching plants. Following our initial efforts in this field, we have turned our fo- cus to the crushing & screening sector, and are moving forward with confident steps, aiming to become a global brand through the sign- ing of important projects also in this field. We have gained invaluable experience in both fields by working with professional companies in various countries, where different quality standards are applied and different geographical conditions prevail. We produce cone, vertical shaft, tertiary and secondary crushers, as well as screening and washing equipment for the crushing & screen- ing and mining sectors, as well as mobile or stationary crushing & screening plants. We develop and manufacture mobile, stationary and compact concrete batching plants, concrete recycling systems and fiber feeding systems. We are also engaged in the creation of concrete road, RCC and precast applications for the ready mixed concrete sector. MEKA products are used by industry leaders in many regions around the world. The companies of Hochtief, Vinci and Strabag, as the high- est ranking companies on the ENR225 (Engineering News Record) list, which lists the world’s big league of globally operating contract- ing companies in terms of their foreign business volume, and many other contractor companies on this list, prefer MEKA products for the concrete and aggregate production tasks in their projects. Our ulti- mate goal is to be the best in the sector on a global scale. Providing a brief overview of MEKA’s international activities and successes, Kerem Kaybal, Sales and Marketing Director at MEKA, said: “The target set on the day MEKA was established is still our main target. We would like to be the best in our field in the world, and to prove Turkey’s manufacturing capabilities to the world.” 2928
  • 16. MEKA MS AND MGS SERIES OF INCLINED SCREENS, OFFERING HIGH SCREENING EFFICIENCY AND PROFITABILITY, ARE AT THE HEART OF CRUSHING & SCREENING AND MINING PLANTS The screening process is as important as the crushing process, and screens are like the heart of quarries. Screens are used in various stages of the crushing process and during the classification of the end product. MEKA’s screens, designed with a weld-free body and adjustable vibration feature to provide different material types and sizes, provide both high quality and efficient screening. Our screens, ranging in size from 2m²–16 m², can be provided with different types of wire mesh in various sizes, including grizzly perforated sheets of up to four layers, and polyurethane and steel wire meshes. With their washing option, they are able to meet the needs of a wide range of applications. MEKA’s inclined screens, designed with a weld-free body and an adjustable vibra- tion feature to resist the high vibrations and long periods of stress for associated with different material types and sizes, provide both high quality and efficient screening. This feature has led MEKA’s MS and MGS series screens to be preferred all over the world, from the United States to Africa, and from Nicaragua to Russia. 3130
  • 17. MEKA MS AND MGS SERIES INCLINED SCREENS, OFFERING HIGH SCREENING EFFICIENCY AND PROFITABILITY Although the crushing of materials is an important process in a crushing & screening plant, the most important factor af- fecting plant efficiency is the complete and proper screening of the crushed material. As the key component of a crushing & screening plant, screens are used to classify materials into different types in various sections of the production line, and to separate them into various sizes, from the feeding stage to the end-product. High levels of material return due to in- sufficient screening, or the mixing of crushed materials with each other may affect the profitability of the crushing and screening plant. MEKA’s MS and MGS series inclined screens, which have been developed following intensive analyses and research- es into inclined screens, are designed to ensure high screen- ing efficiency in different screening types, and to offer differ- ent vibration characteristics, which are selected depending on the required type and screening size of the material. MODULAR-TYPE DRIVE SYSTEM MEKA’s MS and MGS series inclined screens are equipped with a modular-type drive system to allow easy servicing. The two-piece drive-shaft system can be detached one at a time, reducing servicing duration. Additionally, the cardan shaft that connects the modular shafts is more advantageous than the traditional heavier and single-piece shafts in terms of maintenance. HUCK-BOLTED BODY Screen bodies with a conventional bolted assembly suffer from nut loosing and bolt shear as a result of the vibration, reducing operational efficiency and posing significant risks in terms of occupational safety. MEKA’s MS and MGS series screens, with their huck-bolted assembly, require no bolt maintenance, ensuring workplace security. In Turkey, MEKA is the only manufacturer offering huck-bolted assembly in- clined screens as standard. MEKA’s MS and MGS series inclined screens, which offer a combination of inter- national quality, efficient operation and trust, are robust and trouble-free, and are ideally suited to companies seeking to replace the existing screens in their plant, to add new production lines to their plant, or to establish completely new plants. You can access a video of MEKA’s inclined screen by scanning the QR code. 3332

The MCH 1150 that has recently joined the MEKA Cone Crusher product range comes with many superior qualities, and ensures trouble-free operation. The MCH1150, the new member of MEKA cone crusher family, is a superior piece of equipment that blends MEKA quality with the advantage of high capacity. In the MCH 1150, the special alloy bronze bearings are lubricated with an improved atmospheric recirculation system. The temperature, flow rate and filter output values of the lubricant are maintained within certain lim- its. Output aperture adjustment is carried out via the control panel. The system automatically increases the aperture in the event of overload, and the aperture returns to the set value once the load has dissipated. The aperture adjustment system is activated if an uncrushable item of material, such as a piece of iron, enters the crusher chamber, and causes the main shaft to come down and eject the uncrushable item. 3938

MEKA MICRONIZED SCREEN: AN UNRIVALED PRODUCT DEVELOPED BY MEKA FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF MICRONIZED MATERIALS MEKA’s fine material screen is capable of scre- ening the fed material to sizes of 05 mm down to 200 microns. The applied mesh technology allows screening without clogging. Thanks to the amplification structures, the screen body vibra- tes at low amplitude while the mesh frames are vibrating at high amplitudes. In this way, large quantities of small-sized material can be scree- ned with high efficiency. Although MEKA micronized screens joined the MEKA product crushing & screening equipment family only recently, they have witnessed intense demand in many different projects. Please scan the QR code to access a video in which a full glass of water can be seen sitting on the chassis of one of our machines, showing the equipment’s perfect rhythmical movement, and also a coin stood on edge on the elastomer wedges, which did not topple, despite the intense vibration during operation, proving the superior features we have obtained in equipment of this size. 5958

MEKA FINE AND COURSE MATERIAL WASHERS: EFFECTIVE WASHING OF NATURAL AND CRUSHED MATERIALS Fine material washers, also frequently named dewatering screws are utilized to clean and de- water fine aggregates typically minus 10 mm or 5 mm (3/8’’ or 4mesh) to fine tune end products to meet specifications and to separate water solu- ble clay, silt, and micro sized fine particles. This is accomplished by hydraulic separation; using water to clean and classify by weight. Larger particles (Sand) weigh more so they sink and are collected in the bottom of the trough. They are discharged by steel spiral shaft with replace- able polyurethane or cast steel linings. The smaller lighter unwanted particles are floated to the surface and discharged over the weirs at the lower end of the machine.
