4. Local Motors Challenge
It is now Summer 2018 and you have just graduated CEMS.
You have been hired by Local Motors to work in Business Development.
In particular, LM management would like to enter Africa and has its eyes
on Rwanda as an entrance point.
Your task is to develop an entry strategy with a new product to
be launched in Rwanda by January 2018.
Prepare a max 3 minute pitch addressing the following points:
Describe your new product/project to be launched.
Which opportunities and challenges will you encounter on the local market?
How will you motivate and manage the Local Motors’ community as well as
build a local Rwandan and greater African community to help you succeed with
your product/project?
At 10:00 you will pitch your project through Facebook Live to the Local
Motors’ Reference Group situated across the globe.
The Reference Group will decide which project to fund via a poll on the
Facebook Event page.
