As a first generation American coming by way of
Serbia, I know all too well about the mentality it
takes to put in the hard hours and be successful.
I fully aspire to be just like my parents in doing
whatever it takes to provide a life for not only
myself but those around me. However, I believe
that such things can be achieved by doing things
that you love and not just doing things out of
necessity. I’ve realized that I’m purely driven by
doing something I love to do and not just by the
financial incentive. I hope to inspire my friends
and family with this line of thinking because I
believe it lends itself to a more fulfilling life which
is something everyone should strive for.

You know how we always hear about the Cowboys and Lakers? Well, what I
do is cover other teams and stories that take place within the sporting world
and do it in a manner where it’s not a debate about who is right and wrong
but rather telling a story about the actual teams and athletes. In fact, think
about watching a morning TV talk show without all the yelling and theatrics
but rather one where you actually learn something about said teams or
players.

  • 2. As a first generation American coming by way of Serbia, I know all too well about the mentality it takes to put in the hard hours and be successful. I fully aspire to be just like my parents in doing whatever it takes to provide a life for not only myself but those around me. However, I believe that such things can be achieved by doing things that you love and not just doing things out of necessity. I’ve realized that I’m purely driven by doing something I love to do and not just by the financial incentive. I hope to inspire my friends and family with this line of thinking because I believe it lends itself to a more fulfilling life which is something everyone should strive for. IDENTITY

Talent Acquisition at Barstool Sports Andrew Pineda Outreach Plan: • I will reach out via email and kick the tires on this one more so than the rest because The Athletic is something that is new and growing. I would check in a few times a month. Talent Acquisition at The Athletic Jason Gallagher Outreach Plan: • This one is a stretch and an outlier, but I’d approach by asking for any opportunity to shadow, intern under some guidance. • He is active on twitter so as silly as it may be, I could try there first as I already am one of his followers. • I would check back in maybe once a month since it isn’t his reasonability to hire.   • 5. GOALS Short Term: Get Hired • Get hired by a company I desire and respect. ‣ I will get hired by a media company to either produce/edit podcasts or continue with mine. Mid Term: 2028 • Gain experience in the content and media world. ‣ I want to gain enough of an understanding in the media space to know what works and what doesn’t so that I have a blueprint going forward. Long Term: 2038 • Host own successful podcast or run a media company. ‣ With that understanding in the media world, I would like to gain enough of following to start my own media and sports content company through the internet and take advantage of all the platforms within that medium.

Well, what I do is cover other teams and stories that take place within the sporting world and do it in a manner where it’s not a debate about who is right and wrong but rather telling a story about the actual teams and athletes. In fact, think about watching a morning TV talk show without all the yelling and theatrics but rather one where you actually learn something about said teams or players. “
