How long does it take to set up an Automation CoE?
Setting up an Automation Centre of Excellence (CoE), historically, could take up to 10 to 14 weeks. However, by leveraging
a standardized and industrialized approach, Automation CoEs can be set up within 3-6 weeks.
• Mindfields’ CoE.exe (https://www.mindfieldsglobal.com/coe) offering enables organizations to stand up Automation CoEs within
rapid timeframes of 3 to 6 weeks.
• CoE.exe is Mindfields’ proprietary packaged offering comprising a framework and associated tools and templates, to enable

Overview
• Business owns the scope and objectives of the CoE,
supporting the execution of automation, and directing BAU
support
• A formal relationship with support functions (e.g.
Technology) is developed to ensure their expertise is
leveraged
• Technology owns the scope and direction of the CoE,
supporting the execution of automation and directing BAU
support
The key sponsor of the Automation program should initially lead the CoE. The arrangement should be
assessed every 6 months
