Rudyard Kipling was a famous British poet born in 1865 in Bombay, India. He lived in India until moving to England as a child due to illness. As an adult, Kipling traveled extensively and lived in many places but considered his home in Sussex, England. He wrote about universal human emotions and experiences through characters and stories. Kipling died in 1936 at the age of 71.
