Reason for taking this project. for me, this project is full
of challenges and creativity in spaces and services, so I
want to accept this challenge to leave out my fear and
for my upcoming concern of career.

Fashion is an universal
language. Not just limited to
design of apparels and
accessories, it is an act of
man. Globalization of
information and mass media,
is increasing fashion
consciousness in society is at
a rapid rate. Hence, to attain
global competency, the
industry requires trained
professionals who can
spearhead positive changes
and exploit its inherent
strength.
Fashion-
It is all about change and has relevance
to more than the clothes we wear .
Technology-
It is an application of scientific knowledge
to the practical aims to human life .
Their job is to
• Predict the fashion market and to be tuned
into the demands prevalent.
•create an identity for Indian fashion.
•explore what is primitive and traditional,
thereby making the country aware of the
hidden treasures and gifts, and also try to
combine them with the latest.
To cater to this demand, many institutions are
being established. The immediate objective
was to fulfill the long felt need of the export
garment industry to have trained manpower in
different disciplines like fashion designing,
garment manufacturing technology and
apparel marketing and merchandising. The
growing need of trained manpower has led it to
spread institutions over several cities like New
Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata,
Gandhinagar, Hyderabad etc.
ARCHITECTURE AND FASHION
The place where architecture, fashion and
identity come together is highly topical but
highly tricky. In the displaying of the objects in
a shop window, the designing of the window
and the shop itself are all acts determined by
their context. They can serve only one purpose
– to sell.
ABOUT NIFT
National Institute of Fashion Technology was set up
in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles,
Government of India. It has emerged as the premier
Institute of Design, Management and Technology,
developing professionals for taking up leadership
positions in fashion business in the emerging global
scenario. NIFT has been granted statutory status
under the act of Parliament of India in 2006,
empowering the Institute to award degrees and
other academic distinctions.

life learning opportunities and employ students’
creative abilities towards various initiatives.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
• To blend the Indian tradition and heritage
with international fashion and design.
• TTo design for the convenience of the main
user groups such as and Visitors.
• o understand the characteristics and
spatial requirement of the institute to design.
• To make full use of the potential of the site- the
design and layout of the built forms should be such
that it is in conformity and harm only with the
natural elements of the site.
•To portrays the image of the building being a place
of specialized learning.
It is proposed to promote the development of the
fashion industry in larger international context. It is
hoped that in future, this institute will become an
important fashion centre, promoting the various
branches of fashion industry, thus boosting the
Indian fashion trade towards quality and quantity of
exports thereby enhancing the position of the
industry as prime foreign exchange earner for the
country.
ARCHITECTURAL SCOPE
• To develop a circulation pattern which makes
the whole experience enjoyable.
•Landscape should play an important role to
enhance creativity and mental and psychological
satisfaction of the people who will be a part of
the institute .
•Opportunity to deal with the different attitude of
the different building meant for various purposes,
keeping the harmony.
•Site planning and layout plan of the whole
project.

Reason for taking this project. for me, this project is full of challenges and creativity in spaces and services, so I want to accept this challenge to leave out my fear and for my upcoming concern of career.

  • 6. introduction Fashion is an universal language. Not just limited to design of apparels and accessories, it is an act of man. Globalization of information and mass media, is increasing fashion consciousness in society is at a rapid rate. Hence, to attain global competency, the industry requires trained professionals who can spearhead positive changes and exploit its inherent strength. Fashion- It is all about change and has relevance to more than the clothes we wear . Technology- It is an application of scientific knowledge to the practical aims to human life .

Their job is to • Predict the fashion market and to be tuned into the demands prevalent. •create an identity for Indian fashion. •explore what is primitive and traditional, thereby making the country aware of the hidden treasures and gifts, and also try to combine them with the latest. To cater to this demand, many institutions are being established. The immediate objective was to fulfill the long felt need of the export garment industry to have trained manpower in different disciplines like fashion designing, garment manufacturing technology and apparel marketing and merchandising. The growing need of trained manpower has led it to spread institutions over several cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad etc.

In the displaying of the objects in a shop window, the designing of the window and the shop itself are all acts determined by their context. They can serve only one purpose – to sell.
  • 9. ABOUT NIFT National Institute of Fashion Technology was set up in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It has emerged as the premier Institute of Design, Management and Technology, developing professionals for taking up leadership positions in fashion business in the emerging global scenario.   • 12. • To make full use of the potential of the site- the design and layout of the built forms should be such that it is in conformity and harm only with the natural elements of the site. •To portrays the image of the building being a place of specialized learning. It is proposed to promote the development of the fashion industry in larger international context. It is hoped that in future, this institute will become an important fashion centre, promoting the various branches of fashion industry, thus boosting the Indian fashion trade towards quality and quantity of exports thereby enhancing the position of the industry as prime foreign exchange earner for the country. ARCHITECTURAL SCOPE • To develop a circulation pattern which makes the whole experience enjoyable. •Landscape should play an important role to enhance creativity and mental and psychological satisfaction of the people who will be a part of the institute . •Opportunity to deal with the different attitude of the different building meant for various purposes, keeping the harmony. •Site planning and layout plan of the whole project.
