2. B E N N E T T ?
Cole Benett is an American music video director. He has a
multimedia company "Lyrical Lemonade" which he started in 2013
when he was in High school. In college he studied "Digital cinema"
but later made a brand for himself that college couldn't.
He has continued his brand and dream from high school and is now
well known in the music and media industries for his outstanding
work. His network connections is outstanding and has made his
name and brand more well known.

I am very interested in music and always watch music videos from artists I listen too, as
they can explain the song in a visual way, and see the production and BTS of the music
video has always interested me.
I have been following Cole Bennett and Lyrical Lemonade for a while as they have
created music videos for artists I follow and know. Lyrical Lemonade has created music
videos for artists such as Post Malone, Machine Gun Kelly, The Kid Lario, Lil Mosey,
Juice Wrld, Lil Tecca, Lil Skies and so many more. I have always watched the music
video and then the BTS of the music video, to find out how he created the video.
My favourite music videos he has created are Machine Gun Kelly's 'Papercuts', Juice
Wrld and Codae 'doomsday', Juice Wrld 'Lucid dreams', 'Robbery', 'Bad boy', '
Bandit', 'Armed and dangerous' and 'All girls are the same'.

4. C A R E E R
Cole grew up in Illinois City of Plano. His dedication to broadcast underground sounds in
America is inspiring for anyone looking for a career in media. Cole started off by making
music videos for friends and local rappers, he then started a for his creative work. Cole called
the Blog 'Lyrical Lemonade', to expand his platform he decided to host shows at local venues
held 300 people. Started off which free shows which would fill the venue. By his 5th show in
Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert booked at one of his shows, he had a small fan base at the
time. Within 2 months between him booking and playing the show, Lil Uzi Vert skyrocketed
and sold out the show. This made Cole very excited about his future and his brands. He
continued to produce low quality music videos with artists such as Famous Dex. In time
people started to regonise how much he was changing hip-hop music videos. High budget
music videos were becoming less common and popular. A new hip-hop sub-genre 'soundcloud
rap' was emerging. As of this Cole was hanging with rappers Ski Mask the slump god,
smokepurpp and Lil pump. He started getting interviews by magazines such as Rolling Stone.
As his company was growing and was built he was contacted by Quavo from Migos, he asked
him to fly out to film a music video for them. This music video did not happen but Cole chose
to progress and did not let this get to him. He ended up shooting music videos for Wiz
Khalifa. Cole had many inspirations with Lyrical Lemonade. He had a close relationship with
Mac Miller, his 'welcome to America' music video was heavily inspired by some of his editing
techniques.
Cole became a huge inspirational figure and changed the way people viewed music. He set
trend for creating personal experiences with artists who were more inclined to work with
independent companies than major lables. Lyrical Lemonade has a bright and long future, Cole
wants to create a new 'MTV'.

As of 2021 these were the top artists Lyrical Lemonade has
created music videos for. There are a lot of big named rappers
and the amount of views per music video is amazing.

6. I S T H I S A C A R E E R F O R M E ?
Becoming a "Music Video Director" is something that I would love to do. I have always been interested in music
typically the music genres and artists I am interested in. I wouldn't be able to create music my self but being in the
music industry through media is a route for me. I would love to film music videos for the artists I follow and look
up too as I have a personal interest in them and that would help me with finding out what styles they like and don't
like from their previous music videos. From this I would love to have a personal connection, friendship and
reliability to be able to do more and eventually all of their music videos. I would also love to be able to film videos
for them when they are on tour, doing festivals and events this could be for all of their social media platforms,
behind the scenes footage for YouTube and what they would want me to film.
I would also be up to doing different content for these artists that they would put onto their social media platforms,
this could be videography or photography.
The way would create a music video is by asking the artist "what do you want to be included, what mood/emotions
do you want to be portrayed, is there anything you defiantly want/ don't want to be included and more. I would
always go based off what the artists wants to create and their vision as I feel like it is important to listen to the artist,
as they created the song and want to make the song into a video.
