Our client in Northern Florida is seeking an Engineering Design Coordinator experienced with Promis.e software, as well as switchgear and switchboard manufacturing.

2. PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for developing, implementing and
managing the Promise.E software to meet the production
requirements for both engineering and production departments.

3. • Create, modify and develop library symbols and families as required to support OEM switchgear, switchboard, and control panel applications.
• Manage software database to ensure accurate, up to date symbols exists.
• Provide necessary software maintenance as needed.
• Organize symbols and library for efficient use within engineering department.
• Create software user manual in regards to specific applications.
• Create electrical standards and drafting document guidelines.
• Provide training to new and existing engineers.
• Create and develop an efficient process to streamline use of Promis.E software.
• Provide training to production and field service departments in regards to Promis.E drawing formats and functionality.
• Provide Promis.E training as required at other facilities.
• Support engineering staff in project completion using Promis.E software.
• Manage all required databases in regards to electrical software applications.
• Assist with creation of interfaces between Promis.E and other software tools to automate processes when applicable.
• Interpret specifications and contract documents to develop designs.
• Create project documents including drawings, operational descriptions, tests and submittals.
• Interface technically and commercially with internal sales, customers and site contractors.
• Specify and order project materials.
• Interface with production department on implementation of designs and processes.
• Mentor and work with junior Engineers on solutions to project challenges.
• Performs other duties which may be required by supervisor.
