Well-versed in Indian classical, blues, rock, sufi and reggae. Performed Djembe, Blues harp and Recorder/flute professionally in
Chicago and several Indian cities; developed a custom tuning for guitar for Sufi and Indian music.
Calligraphy and Typedesign
Have designed seven typefaces for commercial distribution in English and Tamizh. life-long learner of calligraphic traditions and
have rendered lettering in Roman, Indo-European, Dravidian, Arabic, and Chinese scripts.
Global Travel
Traveled extensively in US, Mexico, Singapore, France, Spain, Germany, England and the Middle East
45 Days on a Greyhound
Traveled over 6500 miles cross-country in the US on a Greyhound bus in search of a raduate program in design.
