The Haiku was an original poem from Japan. It
has a total of 17 syllables. 5 in the first and third row, and
7 in the second row.

An old silent pond
A frog jumps into the pond,
splash! Silence again.
The summer river
although there is a bridge, my
horse goes through the water.
Over the wintry
forest, winds howl in rage
with no leaves to blow.
