OUTSIDE THE PALE
The Architecture of E. Fay Jones
Internationally renowned, Jones‟ work was honored numerous design awards and inspired generations of students during his
years at the University of Arkansas. A love for nature permeated his work and his unique style reflected modern elements such
as broad roofs, clerestory windows, and skylights to develop energy conscious designs infused with natural light. The exhibit is a
magnificent retrospective of the life and work of this disciple and prodigy of Frank Lloyd Wright.
45. Exhibits
CLINTON MEETS KENNEDY
Commemorates the famous handshake and week of profound impact that kicked off President Clinton’s life of public service in 1963. This

hands with then-President John F. Kennedy.

DMAP is an international accreditation program developed by the Washington, D.C. based Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI). In earning the DMAP accreditation, destination marketing organizations (DMOs) communicate to their community, buyers and potential visitors that their DMO has attained a significant measure of excellence. Fayetteville is just the second destination in the state of Arkansas to earn DMAP accreditation. DMAP accreditation standards cover a wide variety of topics including governance, finance, management, human resources, technology, visitor services, group services, sales, communications, membership, brand management, destination development, research/market intelligence, innovation and stakeholder relationships.
GROUP TOUR SALES AND MARKETING OBJECTIVES:• Continue ongoing sales calls and communications to group tour operators in new and existing markets on a monthly basis.• Attend industry trade shows that return the greatest ROI.• Follow up on prospect leads from industry trade shows.• Conduct FAM and site tours to help influence future destination planning decisions.• Cultivate relationships with existing tourism organizations including hotels, restaurants, attractions, and associated groups.• Provide all necessary timelines and materials to motor coach planners to ensure a successful trip. Suggest tour itineraries that match each group’s key interests.• Develop exciting new tours capitalizing on regional attractions, ex.
