Purpose
The purpose of Past Simple is to
explain an action that began and
ended in the past.

Form: Regular Verbs
To properly use Past Simple you take the base form of a verb, and
add –ed (regular verbs)
*A regular verb means the verb does not change form or pattern.

5. Past Simple
Form: Irregular Verbs
To properly use Past Simple you may change the base form of the
verb to the past tense. There are no specific rules for this
change, so you must practice using past simple.
*An irregular verb means the verb CAN change form or pattern.
