Until now, I did not make publicly known - in a comprehensive manner - my position as regards the true, historical Islam, its gradual decay (from the 14th c. to the 19th c.), and its total distortion (during the colonial times, i.e. the last 250 years). Islam's decay is due to internal and external reasons, notably the extremely negative impact of the Crusades on the Islamic World; however, although I mention the external reasons, I admit that in this case what mattered mostly was the reaction of the Muslims to the eternal impact, and quite unfortunately the Muslims' reaction to the Crusades was erroneous and erratic.

Islam's decay is due to internal and external reasons, notably the extremely negative impact of the Crusades on the Islamic World; however, although I mention the external reasons, I admit that in this case what mattered mostly was the reaction of the Muslims to the eternal impact, and quite unfortunately the Muslims' reaction to the Crusades was erroneous and erratic. Islam's distortion is due to entirely external reasons, and this is so for a very good reason; when the colonial powers started attacking and invading Islamic lands, notably the East African coast, the Mughal Empire, the Makassar Empire (Sultanate of Gowa), the Islamic World was at its crepuscule, the essence of the Islamic Genius, Spirituality and Civilization gone, and the real faith decayed. The Islamic World crossed the point of no return and entered its phase of final and irrevocable decomposition in 1580. I wrote briefly about this issue in the fourth and last article of my series (see below) on the 2016 Brussels Terror Attack. In fact, when Napoleon invaded Egypt (1798),there was no Islam and there were no Muslims. There was only a Caliphate that pretended to be Islamic and which survived for another 125 years only because the criminal colonial powers needed to denigrate and ridicule Islam by presenting the Ottoman Empire as the perfect example for all humans to avoid. In addition, the colonial powers needed plenty of time to establish local colonial administrative structures (like the fake Khedivate in Egypt) and turn the local rulers against the indigenous imams and sheikhs, who did not act/react as per the demands and the wishes of the Orientalist diplomats and the colonial academics. Contrary to their lies, England and France did not want to 'Westernize' the invaded and colonized lands of Islam. If they did this, the colonial powers would trigger their own demise, because the ferocious antagonism launched by the then modernized and conscious rivals would bring forth the collapse of the Western European colonials in a matter of decades. Paris and London wanted to distort the identity of the decayed Muslims, to block their path toward nation-building, and to engulf them into today's totally false Islam, i.e. into a permanently failing reaction to the colonization, an extreme opposition, a blind radicalization, a detrimental sentimentalism (anti-Western hatred), a dogmatic sterility, a theological indoctrination (thathas nothing in common with Islam as spirituality and religion), and subsequently, the politicization of their religious beliefs. This would ensure that today's 'Muslims' would never rediscover the true, historical Islam, but would believe in its Western caricature thatthe Orientalists aptly projected onto the local, so-called Muslims.
- 2. The colonial academics' and administrators'' task was not difficult at all. In fact, progressively after 1580,the true Islam receded in few remote locations far from the big urban centers, e.g. Istanbul, Tehran,Delhi, Cairo, Algiers, etc. When the criminal Anglo-French colonials and their local pro-Western stooges imposed the idiotic and ignorant, fanatically anti-Western imams and sheikhs, the stage was set for the paranoid and anti-Islamic radicalization of the entire pseudo-Muslim World. Then, the evil colonial formula was implemented to the last detail; sheikhs and imams were thus 'exported' from Al Azhar to the farthest Nubian villages of Upper Egypt and Sudan, whereas African students from the remotest regions were 'imported' in the bogus-universities of Mecca, Medina, etc. to study today's false Islam. Why this colonial task was easy? Because in reality the Muslims that the colonials encountered were already spiritually and intellectually dead, following the above- mentioned decay of Islam! The colonials understood that very well; how do we know this? That's simple: the colonial powers promoted among Muslims the study of the devious, pseudo-theologians who had caused the spiritual, intellectual and scientific decay within Islam. The 'Muslims' whom the colonials found in Egypt, Algiers and elsewhere were truly speaking dead; the colonials had to only irritate and exacerbate the zombies. The rest would come; when it came, the criminal, hypocritical colonials named it: 'Islamic Terrorism' (or Fundamentalism, Radicalism, Extremism, etc.).But they had engendered it for more than 250 years. They did not want to help the fallen Muslims rectify themselves as per the Islamic criteria; they wanted to make of the fallen Muslims the perfect idiots who commit suicide, thinking they are going to exterminate their enemies. There is an absolute truth in all those in the Western World who, although not specialized scholars, state that there is no such difference between 'moderate Muslims' and 'extremist Muslims'. Having a fake identity, all of them believe as 'Islam' an anti-Islamic theological system that fails to produce Islamic Spirituality, Islamic Science, Islamic Letters, Islamic Wisdom and Islamic Art. This theological system in its several aspects contains the useless story and the common jargon that engulf today's 'Muslims' into permanent darkness. Then, it is only a matter of time when the moderates will become Islamists! Bring down the Qubbat as Sakhra (the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem) and you get it done! How nice! That's why many perspicacious people, although not specialists, are able to conclude that 'Islam is not a religion but a political ideology'; their only mistake is that they don't make it fully clear by saying 'today's Islam'. The nonsensical words of the sheikhs, the childish khutbahs of the imams, and the silly fatwas of the uneducated pseudo-muftis merely follow the dictates of the invisible heads of today's pseudo- Muslims: the Western Satanic elites; it is all about politics. And there is nothing more un-Islamic and more anti-Islamic than the evil system of governance that is called 'politics'. There was no politics in the Abbasid Caliphate, in the Safavid Iran, in the Mughal Empire and in the Ottoman Caliphate.You cannot be 'Muslim' when you are involved in politics; you cannot be clean and dirty at the same time. Over the past 100 years, the Islamic World had only one ruler who knew how to avoid colonial traps, how never to be maneuvered by the colonial gangsters, and how to rule by damaging the Western interests in the lands that he controlled.
