2. ENGINEERING PROJECT(S)
Final Year Project:
Using CFD software (Fluent) constructed the 3D coronary bypass models of the aorto-right
coronary bypass and the aorto-left coronary bypass system. Used Finite volume approach for
better understanding of the flow dynamics at specific time instants of the cardiac cycle,
quasi-steady flow simulations. Also used Physiological measurement like the aortic
entrance, the ascending aorta, the left coronary and right coronary arteries as data input.
By this, we can achieve
1) Maximum perfusion, of the occluded artery during Mid-diastole.
2) Around the distal anastomotic region, maximum wall shear-stress variation achieved.
It can help to better understanding of Vein graft diseases after surgery ,also can help to
investigate post-surgical complications, and it can be helpful to provide a solution to delay the
occurrence of vein graft diseases
