Recommended Windows 7
Node.js (v14.x or v16.x) + npm Node.js v13.14.0 (last version support windows 7, but
not support for Dspace 7.3) with npm 6.14.4 version
Node-v16.16.0-win-x64 [ binary version]
Use workaround Method for can installing Node.js
version 16.x on windows 7
1. Extract it in the directory where your node is installed
and say yes to Replace all files in binary Node.js-
v16.16.0 to folder C:Program Filesnodejs
2. Create an Environment variable
called: NODE_SKIP_PLATFORM_CHECK and value set it
to 1
Check node and npm version on command line (cmd)
Type cmd command : node -v , then enter
v16.16.0
Then, test version npm
Type cmd command : npm -v , then enter
