Do you know about traditional
marketing?
 Traditional marketing refers to any type of promotion,
advertising or campaign that has been in use by companies for
years, and that has a proven success rate.
 Methods of traditional marketing can include print
advertisements, such as newsletters, billboards, flyers and
newspaper print ads.
And what about Digital Marketing?
 At a high level, digital marketing refers to advertising delivered
through digital channels such as search engines, websites, social
media, email, and mobile apps.
 While this term covers a wide range of marketing activities, all of
which are not universally agreed upon, we’ll focus on the most
common types below.
Why digital is overtaking traditional
marketing?
 There is very little interaction between the medium used and
the customers. It is more of providing information to the public
that the brand exists with the hope of these people patronizing the
brand.
 Results on this marketing strategy cannot easily be measured.
Was the campaign successful?
Benefits of digital marketing?
 You can target a local audience, but also an international one.
Further, you can tailor a campaign to specific audience
demographics, such as gender, location, age and interests. This
means your campaign will be more effective.
 Your audience can choose how they want to receive your
content. While one person likes to read a blog post, another person
likes to watch a YouTube video. Traditional marketing doesn't give
the audience a choice.
CONTENT MARKETING
 Have you heard the expression, “Content is king?” If not,
you have now. Great content is the fuel that drives your
digital marketing activities:
 It is a key pillar of modern SEO
 It helps you get noticed on social media
 It gives you something of value to offer customers in
emails and paid search ads

 Social media marketing offers marketers a vast opportunity
to engage with their buyers, across the entire customer
lifecycle, on the platforms they actively tune into for
information.

What is the concept of SEO?
 SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of
getting traffic from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural”
search results on search engines.
 Search engine optimization is the process of affecting the online
visibility of a website or a web page in a web search engine's unpaid
results—often referred to as "natural", "organic", or "earned"
results.
What is Paid SEO?
First of all, let’s talk about paid search results. Paid
search results also known as pay-per-click are basically
advertisements. Advertisers pay to have their ads
displayed when users do a search containing specific
keywords.
What is organic SEO?
Organic search results also known as natural
search results are the listings of Web pages
returned by the search engine that most closely
match the user’s search query based on
relevance.
