Nadia Comaneci, at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow Nadia Comaneci, at the European Gymnastics Championships  in Copenhagen (Denmark) Nadia Comaneci (1961), winner of five Olympic gold medals, is the first gymnast to beawarded a perfect 10 score in an Olympic gymnastics event, at the Olympic Summer   Games in Montreal, 1976. She is considered one of the best sport performers and one   of the best gymnasts of all time. She was the first athlete to speak at the United Nations,   to launch Year 2000, the International Year of Volunteers. Nadia still works in the   gymnastics world and does charity work worldwide.

She is considered one of the best sport performers and one of the best gymnasts of all time.
