  1. 1. • Knowing what you want to achieve is the crucial first step to achieving them. • Take time to think about exactly what you want to do and make it your primary aim. • Action:- Decide what you want.
  2. 2. • Many of our goals in life are long term and its easy to lose encouragement and motivation as time passes. • Settings smaller goals which can be more easily achieved will give a boost to motivation and give you a feel good factor as you tick each step off towards your ultimate goal . • Action:- Set milestone goals.
  3. 3. • Physiological studies have shown that the act of writing down your goals makes them more concentrate and thus make you more likely to follow through with them . • Committing to the goal by writing them down on paper will help keep you on track! • Action:- Grab a pen and paper and get writing.
  4. 4. • In your planning stage really think about not just what you want to achieve but how you are going to achieve your goals . • Start from where you want to be and work backward . • Action:-Write a detailed plan .
  5. 5. • Having a saying, motto or mantra that underpins your motivations for attaining a goal can help to maintain the drive and determination to succeed by reminding you of why you set up on this journey . • Action:- Apply this mantra to your working behaviour .
  6. 6. • No matter how hard will try, sometimes things are going to be tough. In these moments it is great to look for inspiration and use it to your advantage. • Whether it's from somebody that has gone through or someone who you admire. • Action:-Read,watch or listen to anything that inspires you!
  7. 7. • Everyone has challenges on the way to success and often it is these challenges that give our goals substance and make achieving them rewarding . • Overcoming the barriers put in the way of a goal is important in learning and growing . • Action:- Don't give up!
  8. 8. • Recognize that along the way your plans can evolve and that's okay . Take time to re-evaluate what you want to do and don't be afraid to switch direction its better to alter your plans and stay motivated than try and fail to achieve a goal you no longer believe in . • Action:- Take your plans and adapt it to reflect your new goals.
  9. 9. The important thing is not where you were, or where you are but , where you want to get !
