Top
This black mesh crop top is
ideal for our music video, as
it fits in with our conventions
and is suited to the mise en
scene.
The plain black sleeveless
crop top overlays with a
black mesh knee length
material. With slits down the
side, the thin material will
blow in the wind and bring a
creative dimension to the
long shots in our music
video.
We have chosen a black
colour scheme inspired by
Ellie Goulding’s Beating
Heart music video.

2. Costume planning
Shorts
These black floaty lace shorts will be worn beneath the mesh top.
The mesh top will overhang and float above them in the wind.
The plain black material gives edgy, dark and mysterious
connotations to our main singer, whilst the lace trim brings lust and
sexual connotations to appeal to the stereotypical male audience.

Makeup
As previously noted on the blog, we have chosen to
have a dominant and recognisable dark maroon lip
with a bold liner.
Inspired by Lorde and her unique look, we hope to
bring a sense of depth and mystery.
