On the first week of October 2013, Samsung
released its NX300M smart camera which
became the first consumer product based on
Tizen.
The first Tizen tablet was announced by
Systena in June 2013.
The Samsung Gear 2 smartwatch, released in
April 2014, uses Tizen.

Tizen is different because it is a broad industry effort to create a new mobile
